  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
So what would you want from the 76ers for an expiring Avery Bradley?
Let's be serious too. Embid, Simmoms and the #3 pick are off the table here.
What would it take?

Sources: Philadelphia searching for defensive-minded guards to play with Ben Simmons. One target: Boston's Avery Bradley. No traction.

This is pretty old news -- it was talked a lot about here when it first broke around the trade deadline.

I need the SAC pick in 2019, and only if we're for sure getting a max FA this summer.  No more, no less.

Bradley should really spend his entire career in Boston, and he deserves way better than Philly. Sending our 3rd best player and 2nd best guard out for some chump in Philly is a good way to not get back to the ECF next year.

Either the 2018 Lakers pick, 2019 Kings pick, or 2018 76ers pick.  The Kings pick is probably the most valuable, but I'd be willing to bet on the Lakers being among the worst again next year.  Maybe a pick swap with our pick and the Kings pick? Or work it out so that we get their worst lottery pick (or best pick if none are in the lottery)

I'd like Holmes, too, but if Hayward agrees to sign with us then we don't want any salary coming back (this deal would be completed after Hayward agreed, I'd throw in a minor asset for Holmes)
I'm bitter.

I think if the C's are looking to move salary to sign a max free agent they will absolutely talk with the Sixers. I'd guess Danny would be interested in future draft picks, Saric, Holmes and maybe even Okafor.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Old news,

I think the past trade deadline could have seen a boston, 76ers, Bulls 3 way with a core deal being AB to 76ers, Okafor to Bulls, and Butler to Cs. Obviously Cs would give up more and Bulls would receive more in a deal. This was speculated to be a deal that would have happened after a Paul George to Boston trade.

I have posted about ABs trade value recently and I suspect it to be about even with Ibaka's last off-season. Maybe slightly lower given that he is a guard comp to Ibaka being a 4/5. Ibaka was traded on draft night for #11 (Sabonis), Oladipo, and Ilyasova.

Maybe 76ers offer up swap of Saric for AB?

This would open the door for 76ers to draft Jackson at #3. If they really want Simmons to be the primary ball handler maybe they start AB, Jackson, Covington, Simmons and Embiid. That would make for an interesting team. The Cs could effectivly replace KO with Saric. If they miss out on Hayward Saric is the likely starter next to Crowder if they land him he, Smart and Brown form the core of the bench unit.

Not the death sentence it was 2 years ago. Philly is going to be good...soon.

I think if Embiid/Simmons stay healthy and you add Bradley Philly might be a playoff team.

BOS Receives = Marquese Chriss Jahlil Okafor Future Pick
BOS Gives Up = Avery Bradley Jae Crowder
DET Receives = Avery Bradley Jae Crowder
DET Gives Up = Stanley Johnson Kentavious CaldwellPope 12th Pick & Future Pick
PHX Receives = Stanley Johnson DET 12th Pick & PHI Future Pick
PHX Gives Up = Marquess Chriss
PHI Receives = Kentavious CaldwellPope
PHI Gives Up = Jahlil Okafor Future Pick

I made a thread off this post.  I think JO and MC would fit nicely together.  Idea is that we are going to rebuild and acquire young talent (which is not an indication that I want to blow up shop, but it is a possibility).  C's have a young core of:

Marcus Smart Markelle Fultz Jaylen Brown Marquese Chriss Jahlil Okafor
& Terry Rozier Yabu & Zizic off the bench

Bradley and the 2019 Memphis pick for Saric..

** obviously under the strict assumption Ainge has no intention of resigning Bradley next season.

Bradley fits perfectly with the 76ers. I see there being a match here.

Well this could be interesting.

Sacramento wants to move up by trading the 5th and 10th,
Philadelphia is interested in Avery Bradley.
Boston wouldn't mind picking up a 2nd lottery pick and either another draft pick or a player.

Sounds like there a quite a few possibilities.

Even then it's an overpay.

Bradley + Memphis Pick + 2018 Nets Pick + 2018 Celtics Pick FOR Ben Simmons.  Would love to see that guy in Green.

I think that I would try to replace the 2018 Nets pick with Rozier and some other picks from our stable. I want to try and stay in the top 10 of next years draft for that big banger we need.

OR the above deal, but in return for Simmons we also get the 2018 Lakers pick.

So maybe Bradley+ Rozier + Mem + 2018 Nets + 2017 Celtics for Simmons and 2018 Lakers

And even then, I'm sure Philly says no.
