We all know he will get offers from other teams. I am hopeful he will take a little less to stay with celtics. I love his work ethic and persona. I don't want to lose him crowder or smart but one must go. I think we get greater value with either crowder (great contract) or Smart (upside). Plus I would like the last player from the Doc era to get the next ring.

Agreed.  Also - have we seen the best from AB or is the best yet to come?  I feel like he is just coming into his own and gaining that "star" confidence.  That can do wonders --- not saying he becomes a star, but I do think he isnt done blossoming.  I hope he figure out a way to keep him.

I believe Bradley is showing what he is and will be as a pro.  I don't think the best is yet to come.  He is an elite 3 and D type of player.  He is great off the ball and cutting to the hoop and he is becoming a good 3pt shooter.  I don't consider him a knock down 3pt shooter but he is above average.  He does not excel driving to the hoop nor can he run a team.  He may improve his shooting a bit and he may improve as a ball handler but he does not have the skills to slash to the hoop like IT or even JB.  I love AB but I do not think he will ever be a star.  He's a shorter Bruce Bowen and there is nothing wrong with that.

Absolutely 100% behind this post.  Love AB.  Understand that we may soon be unable to keep all our guards or even give them the playing time and dough their play demands, but still stinks b/c I love cheering for these guys--especially AB for the reasons mentioned, plus the unforgettable 3 that sealed our 1 win against the Cavs.

Do you mean the win from this year:

You're the man Mike.  I'll take both, as they say, For The Win!

Bradley is the odd man out for sure.
Too expensive going forward.

Was talking to a friend about this last night.

So we know SAC wants to move up by packaging #s 5 & 10.  What if they did that to acquire the #3 pick from PHI, and the Celtics then offered the guard-starved Sixers Bradley & Rozier for Okafor & #10?  If not enough, they could always throw in one of their many future picks.

Sixers turn #3 into Bradley, Rozier and most likely one of Tatum/Jackson/Fox.

Celtics get a guy who was the top player in his class just a couple years ago (and who they've been rumored to have interest in) and addresses their interior scoring/rebounding issues. (Defense is another story, but maybe he'd be better in Stevens system.) They'd also have another top 10 pick to either catch a guy who slides a bit or roll the dice on Giles.

Seems pretty fair on the surface.  It also helps free up the current logjam of guards.

Potential rotation in 2017/18 with remaining slots filled by rookies/exception vets:

Thomas/Fultz
Brown/Smart
Hayward/Crowder
Horford/Yabusele/Giles
Okafor/Zizic

Thoughts?

With this logical, Thomas is clearly the odd man out.

Philly wouldn't make that trade.  After Bradley leaves next offseason, it would end up as Rozier for Okafor and the #10.  If Philly trades back for the #5 and #10 at least one of those picks will be a guard.

yeap........people forget he had chip on his shoulder about his contract last time,  getting way under what people are getting today and missing out onthe big payday by 1/2 season or year......he wanted more more after the fact...... ::)

He is expecting a brinks truck too.

And .....there is no way Danny pays him what he thinks he should get .......its gonna be like ET ....Bradley is going to get alot of money......

just not from the Celtics

His chip on his shoulder from his presen contract won't allow, him to  make a friendly Celtics deal......so he ll go to Phily , Hornets , Nets , heat , somebody who can pay out .

I would personally rather Saric than Okafor.  Half the salary and a better fit for the celts style IMO.  With the 10th pick, I would lean more towards Markkanen or Z. Collins. Markkanen elite shooter and 7 footer and Collins very good mid-range shooter which projects well to three point range, good inside scorer, and high motor defender.  I would like the trade and believe it would improve our team, but I am also concerned about how much it would improve the sixers.
