Would Celtics consider 5 and 10 with Big Willy  for #1 or SKal instead of Big Willy?

No way. The only thing of true value that you are getting back is the #5. Willy is good and solves some problems for us, but you don't give up a #1 pick for "good."

Jackson or Tatum and Monk could slide to 5
so its
#1  for Jackson/Tatum/Monk  and Big Willy  and select Markkanen at #10
thats a nice haul for #1

If they add in all of their tradeable first round picks for the next decade I'd consider it.

Would you trade a rookie Dwyane Wade type (Fultz) for a Monta Ellis type (Monk) and a Ryan Anderson type (Markkanen)?  Absolutely not.

What do you think?

Why would you give up a prized prospect for players that probably won't even end up being on our roster in 3-4 years from now..?

I like Lauri, and Tatum or Jackson. But I take Fultz over those two anyday... A player that can end up being a 20+ PPG scorer is nothing to sneeze at. What looks better to a team trading their star player.. 1st pick or 5/10?

It's based on your perspective, quite simply

Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

I'll take the quality (Fultz) over quantity here.

I watched Skal several times near the end of season on NBA League Pass.  He is an absolute monster-an incredible athlete.  He went to the wrong college, Kentucky, where Calipari actually acknowledged he was not good at developing big men!

Philly should do this deal.

Then, the net results of Vlade's of various trades would be:

DeMarcus Cousins + unprotected 2019 SAC #1 for Buddy Hield and cap space to sign Nenad Krstic, Marco Belinelli and Rajon Rondo

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

KP / Giannis / Turkuglu / Jrue / Curry
Sabonis / Brand / A. Thompson / Oladipo / Brunson
Jordan / Bowen

Isn't it time to consolidate assets and add quality rather than collect assets and push success farther down the road hoping for less than elite talent to develop? Fultz is elite talent. You keep him and sign an All-Star level max free agent. You do not trade that dollar for 3 quarters.

Gimme one of the top forwards and Skal and I'd do it since I also like several of the bigs that will be available at 10 and our backcourt isn't a glaring need. Tatum is a scorer and Jackson's an elite defender. Skal has shown promise and add Markkanen to replace KO cheaply or one of the Collins and that's a haul.

But that deal is conditional on both sides. You take Fultz, who is the surest thing (though not a lock IMO) in the draft, and then see who's left at 5. There's no way that you can count on Fox or someone else going in top 4 thus ensuring that Jackson or Tatum are there and if Ball's at 5, SAC doesn't do the trade.

It's Danny's call though and I think he's going with Fultz since apparently, he isn't working out for anyone else.
