Clint as Old Walt in Gran Torino, one of the greatest movies of all time.

Walt's probably lurking in here somewhere right now.

One of the greatest movies of all time?   I wouldn't put it in Clint Eastwood's top 20.  Bad in just about every way possible.  But difference is what makes the world fun -- or at least it could.

Love Jaylen, but if anyone says 'no' to this, they need to be banned from this site  :P
I think a lot more people will say no to this than you might expect

Yeah but I mean, if it almost guarantees you like 2 titles (which it should), why not?

Isn't that the goal. Championships? Plus I'm sure "ring-chasers" come over which helps a ton.
With 18 votes in, 41% say no.   ;)

50% now, as we speak.

The no's are gonna win.

Yeah I guess I'm wrong. I'll accept it

I do think a Lebron + most of this current core does give us a great chance at #18.

But obviously no guarantees, and Warriors probably still beat us.

I voted no, because I hate Lebron.

LOL, TP for the honesty

Lebron undercut Danny Granger in the playoffs and injured him, when Granger was playing really well.
Lebron is a p o s.

I know it would never happen but would you trade trade for Lebron adding him to this current team and a chance at 2-3 rings or would you pass and wait to see if the picks develop over time for a chance at multiple titles later?

For me. Give me Lebron.
yeah, I take lebron.  if we've still got this team and add lebron, we take some titles regardless of GSW

Why does it do that? After this year, he will have lost in 2 of the last 3 Finals. Cause there is zero chance Cleveland wins this year.

You win from a value perspective. Lebron is really that good. Unfortunately, my hatred of Lebron and The presence and youth of that super team in Golden State make it tough.

Ultimately I think you have to do it but I feel gross saying it.

I said the same thing after game 2 last year.

I sure as hell wouldn't bet on the cavs winning the series but there is still a non-negligible chance of it happening.

Yes. If you have LeBron, you have a legitimate shot at a championship or two.

I'll pass on Lebron, I just can't warm-up to him, I know he's great, and one of best basketball players of all time, but he's so interested in himself, and his legacy. He wins championships so he has more than Mike, or Magic or anyone else. He actually must have a stat guy who lets him know when he's coming on breaking another NBA record.

Lebron is a gunslinger for hire. His home is where ever he has the best chance to build his rep. He'll move out of Cleveland when he see no opportunity for himself...screw the City and the fans.

Besides...I actually enjoy the ride, as much as reaching the destination.

Absolutely not, because Lebron wouldn't be enough for us to beat GSW.

Horford + IT isn't an upgrade over Irving and Love. If Lebron, playing some of his best basketball, isn't nearly enough with those guys, what good would he do us with a lesser cast around him? We'd get to the finals, and get steamrolled just like CLE is now.

And as someone mentioned above, few things in sports are better than watching your team build a contender. I believe we got the 1st big piece of that puzzle last year in JB, and we'll get another piece in 2 weeks. Could that strategy fail? Sure it could. But if we draft well, and Fultz is the player I believe him to be, we're a long way towards building a legit contender. OTOH, I don't think that Lebron, or George, or Butler, or Hayward makes us a contender. Adding one of those guys makes us a better team, but wouldn't be enough to beat the GSW juggernaut.

IMO, the only acquisition that would make us a true contender would be Kevin Durant. Not only is Durant among the best 2 or 3 players in the league, getting him also would severely weaken GSW. But failing that, I don't see a way to get to a title anytime soon. So I would preach patience, the draft, and youth.

People on here are weird. We've battled so much with LeBron's teams over the years. This would be like the Knicks trading for Jordan near the end of his career. No way. No Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing way.
