I watched Fox's 39pt game and it's like 5 floaters, 4 drives, no 3s and maybe 1 jumper
and that's when he is feeling it(so the floaters go in)

Fulz is surely on another level and Fox does NOT have a higher ceiling
Saric is good but i will say he is(will be) AB/Gallo level good
The picks is too much a risk and we aren't short of them anyway
We need to consolize the value so you don't choose Fox(+saric+picks) over Fulz

I'm not shocked that he had no 3's, he was a 25% 3-point shooter. IMO Fox, even with Saric, over Fultz is not the way to go.

Why would you be taking Fox over Jackson, Tatum or Monk? He's 100% not the consensus 3rd pick overall

Is this even a question? I mean, who in his right mind trades #1 for #3+Saric??

There's an article on sixers sense that suggests a trade of #1 for #3, Saric and Lakers 18. I'm guessing that is where this thread is coming from

OK, that makes more sense. Still wouldn't do it though. Give me the Sacramento 2019 pick as well and we have a deal!

You ABSOLUTELY trade Fultz for the #3, Saric and the Lakers 2018 pick.. but you don't take Fox at #3 you take Jackson.
I personally think Jackson is the best player in this years draft, you then add Saric who fills a major hole on our team and have a chance at 2 top 5 picks in next years draft (Brooklyn and Lakers).
Fultz has potential to be a stud don't get me wrong, but we are saturated at guard. You make this trade if you are Ainge.

Ya this actually is pretty good for us. We'd take Jackson or Tatum. Saric is really good. Don't see this happening but it would be a good trade for us.

Don't see the Lakers 2018 pick ending up in the top 5. The Lakers will have zero incentive to lose games next season, much less if they know that their pick is going to the Celtics.

Ball - Clarkson
Russell
Ingram
Randle - Nance Jr.
Zubac

That's not a bad team. Add a couple of veterans to that group (Mozgov - Deng) and they 'll be OK.

Magic has gone on record saying they are not going after any free agents this off season. I don't see Ball making them that much better then last season, so the Lakers are essentially going into next season with the same team + Ball, to me that is a bottom feeder.
Phx, Brooklyn, Sacremento, Lakers, Orlando are my expected 5 worse teams next season. Maybe you put Dallas in the conversation?

It would be a tempting trade.  You really have to look at who your 3rd ranked player is in this draft.  If the Sixers take Fultz and the Lakers take Jackson, would you still want to do the deal?

Tough scenario to picture since I don't see the Lakers passing on Lonzo. That being said it's interesting. I wanted to see Lonzo as a Celtic before the LaVar show started, now I want nothing to do with the kid. That being said if the Lakers shafted Lonzo like that you'd think he'd be hungry to stick it to them, and he'd have a chance to do so on their rival team. It's an interesting story line to say the least.. but I still wouldn't want LB.

The problem with the trade is the Lakers pick.   If they just draft a player and roll with it, it is fine.

If the Lakers find a way to make a trade for George, well, that pick may be less attractive.

Personally, I think if the Lakers pass on Ball it will be for Fox.  However if you are going to make that trade you have to be willing to settle for your 3rd ranked player.  The Lakers were expected to draft Okafor but then decided to draft Russell which screwed up the Sixers plans.
