Celtics Trade
Isaiah Thomas
Jordan Mickey
Celtics 2018 1st
Celtics 2019 1st

76ers Trade
Ben Simmons

Celtics can draft the future in Fultz, while being able to keep Bradley and Smart in the future.  We gain a starting power forward who is versatile and can play multiple positions. Well the 76ers gain a star player in Thomas to put next Embiid and the young team. Plus giving them the chance to draft Fox or Jackson in the draft.

Celtics in free agency go after Hayward, buy out Jackson, sign Yabusele, Zizic and Nader from last year's draft.  The draft picks I know will get between roughly 3.5 million to 1.5 million I believe.  I believe the money works out or the Celtics can make numbers work by how they structure Haywards contract.  Then as the Celtics you have some trade assets, would think Crowder and Rozier would be the nice trade pieces for future assets with this team.  Plus with Bird rights able to keep Smart and/or Bradley and not mess with cap next year.  Mind you could put Bradley on the block as well but this is my idea to keep the core together.

Center - Horford
Power Forward - Simmons
Small Forward - Hayward
Shooting Guard - Bradley
Point Guard - Smart

Center - Zizic
Power Forward - Yabusele
Small Forward - Crowder
Shooting Guard - Brown
Point Guard - Fultz
Point Guard - Rozier
Forward - Nader

Also, this trade would p--- off Horford and result in Hayward more or less crossing us off his list

Trades like this are why I'm glad fans aren't GMs.

Philly wouldn't want IT and they certainly wouldn't trade Simmons for him.  If Embiid stays healthy and Simmons performs to his potential, they can be great for a decade together.  IT is a 1 year rental who is injured.  The Sixers already have the #3 pick so they already can draft Jackson or Fox assuming that they are available.  The trade doesn't change that.  Although trading for IT and then drafting Fox would be weird.

If the Sixers want a veteran PG, they can go after Lowry, Holiday, etc in free agency without giving up anything but cap space.

I would do it, but Philly never even considers it. And the folks around here saying an IT trade would affect morale and turn off free agents are probably right, unfortunately.

Yeah, this would be shocking for potential free agent acquisitions, as well as morale. Plus, why would Philly want him?

Colangelo laughs so hard he falls backwards out of his chair and breaks his neck.  Philly needs a new GM since Bryan Colangelo literally died laughing at our trade.   Philly trust the process and rehires Sam Hinkie.  Hinkie does the deal because IT is an all-star and 2nd team all-NBA player.  What a deal, its a no brainer for Hinkie.

Meanwhile Boston becomes the first team to start two rookies in the NBA finals.  Boston wins Banner 18.  Fultz earns first ever MVP hat trick, wins ROY, League MVP, Finals MVP.

PG: Fultz / Smart
SG: Brown / Bradley
SF: Hayward / Crowder
PF: Horford / Kelly Olynyk
 C:  Simmons / Zizic
[Simmons is supposed to be a legit 7' now.]

Yeah, Philly has no incentive to do a deal like that.

If Philly really wants a PG, they can draft one and keep Simmons.
