My "jimmy butler/draymond green" Pick.. who's yours?

Trying to nail the "all star steal" in the later rounds of the draft.. heck, just find me a "Malcolm Brogden" and i'll be satisfied

It's pretty much impossible, but my logic to find these type of players
-Junior or Senior
-Steadily improved each year of his college career
-Was a primary scoring/playmaking option for his school
-Developed a new standout skill during his college years
-Successful Team
-NBA size and especially strength


The primary guy in this year's draft that fits this mold for me is Dillon Brooks
-Junior or Senior 
Entering his Senior year
-Steadily improved each year of his college career
Increased his per-40 scoring from 16.2, 20.4, 25.5 each year.
-Was a primary scoring/playmaking option for his school
See above
-Developed a new standout skill during his college years
3pt% increased steadily each year, ending at over 40% on 6 attempts
-Successful Team
Oregon was pac12 regular season champ and made the Final Four
-NBA size and especially strength
6'6 and 220lbs. Built like a Tank

I like Brooks. Concidentally he got ejected for having a Draymond esque 'groin,' kick lol.

I think the problem is finding the next Draymond Green, or someone who exceeded expectations far beyond their drafting selection in terms of IT, Butler, Green, Jordan, etc; are very hard to find.

My picks are: Semi Ojeleye or Justin Jackson.

The problem is finding a Draymond Green is also tough, because he's been a 6'5-6'7 type of guy with a 7'1-7'2.5 wing span, and an impressive motor.

Yep, that's a nice pick as well. Extremely long, good shooter, not overly athletic though -> can't guard the pick n roll/pick n pop.

Cameron Oliver is the stereotypical overlooked prospect;

- Projected as 57 pick

- Is a Sophomore so is perceived as 'old'

- Played for a small school in Nevada

- He original committed to Oregon State when in High School but the coach he was recruited by got fired so he was a late decommit and actually sat out his freshman year and he moved with the former Oregon State staff to Nevada.

- 6'8 with a 7'1 wingspan, Oliver has a modern power forwards body

- Can shoot threes and has good form

- Averaged 2.6 blocks per game

- Extremely athletic

Jordan Bell would probably be my pick, but I think he's a late lottery pick.

At worst, if he falls down in the rankings, I would love him. He's an absolute terror defensively. The enforcer for the Oregon Ducks, and had the highest defensive rating and defensive win shares in PAC-12.

Excuse me, but 40 percent of 6 is 2.4.  I am curious how he made that number of 3 point shots.

I think those stats are correct on Brooks, great/clutch shooter, the main weakness with him is he is a below average athlete with a negative wingspan...there has been plenty of great players with one of those weaknesses but not both especially as a wing.
