Call me crazy, but I have no interest in resigning him.  I'd rather trade him now (and create enough cap space to go after Hayward) than let him walk in a year's time.

Well, I don't know about that. I mean, in 2015 LeBron had Golden State on the ropes pretty much by himself. Irving-Love were both ruled out with injuries and the Cavs had Dellavedova running the point! The way I see it, no matter what we do next year we aren't beating the Cavs (unless perhaps LeBron suffers an injury, but has this ever happened in the playoffs?).

Not to mention we aren't beating the Warriors either, with their 4 all-stars and 2 MVPs.

I'll bite. The top 4 you mentioned are pretty easily above IT in terms of ranking. However Kyrie, Lowry etc. are definitely on his level. Taking into account age and ability to continue to develop you'd probably have Wall round out the top 5, yet I'd still put (pre-March hip injury) Thomas above Kyrie and co.

But if Giannis is a point guard then that changes the conversation again. However, I feel as though that top ten, plus Lillard are well above the guys on the tier below.

Pre-draft... I'd definitely move him for a top 3 pick.  I'd probably move him for a top 6 pick (I really like Jonathan Isaac as a prospect and he'd fit in perfectly right now).  Probably not anything later than that since I can't be sure what will be available.

Also, I might accept something that would be equal in value to what Sacramento got for Cousins.  A specific young player that I covet (Justise Winslow maybe) along with a top 3 protected 1st round draft pick.  Something like Winslow + Miami's #14 pick would get me thinking... I'm not sure if I'd accept though.  Winslow would be a great player to defend Lebron for the next 3 years.

Not sure whether Winslow would start over Jae immediately, but it'd be interesting. Also not sure if Whiteside would fit too well into Brad's offence considering he is, frankly, a shocking passer. But his interior presence and amazing rebounding would be incredibly refreshing.

If I wasn't such a Fultz fanboy this would probably be more intriguing.
