So looks like we're playing better and harder, but they're just lights out from beyond the arc. Has Al really been that bad covering Love out there? I've never liked that matchup for him or any that has him out on the perimeter guarding those types. That's why I was always a big proponent of JJ starting and keeping Al at the 5.

Olynyk as well leaving Love WIDE OPEN.

But for the most part, they are just hitting a TON of contested shots, and 3s.

Nothing much you can do there.

A variety of Celtics were covering him.but he got open too, often, but he just hasn't missed super shooting by him.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

If the Cavs do this to the Warriors, I wonder how this all gets reassessed??
They shoot like this vs GS they win in 5 or 6

Everybody keeps talking about what to do for next season but this game shows that what needs to be addressed first is defense and it's got to start with the coaching staff.  Cleveland is hot but we're still seeing poor rotations and poor decision-making from the C's defense.  It's not just IT being a liability.

We can add Hayward, George, Butler or anyone else and it won't matter if we can't play elite defense.

What if GSW shoot like this or better. It's not going to be a defensive battle...

Well all of those three play great defense, esp. PG13 and Butler, but even Hayward is one of the better defenders in this league (not elite, but still REALLY good).

Let's see...

LeBron-#1 Pick in the draft
Kyrie-#1 Pick in the draft
Love-Traded for the #1 Pick in the draft

How do the C's compete with this-?

We got mid-late 1st and 2nd round players out there...But, the tide will change soon.

CAVS are shooting lights out on most well defended shots! It's just better offense...

Would be nice if C's can hang in there for a while, but I doubt it will happen.  Maybe Cavs could go cold for a few minute?

I think Cleveland being the bigger team will have an impact

Yep. I see putrid defensive rotations by Brad like allowing Olynyk to switch on Lebron on the perimeter often. But then players are also accountable for defensive lapses too.
