What are potential trade partners in a deal for IT? Amd how much could we haul?

I don't rule anything out with Ainge. I just don't know what the value of IT is out there on the market right now.

IT is coming off a year in which he earned 2nd team All-NBA honors and was the a leading scorer in the reg. season. That's worth something. But then again, how much of that is highlighted by Brad Stevens and Al Horford.

I know IT is an elite scorer, but one with several questions in his play.

I think he can be a overall positive net gain for a team, especially a contender. But how much could the Cs realistically fetch for him in a trade?

The most realistic trade I can think of is IT for the 9th pick (Dallas).

Ya both the Minnesota (given how much Dunn struggled) or Dallas might make sense. I mean imagine how good that Minnesota offense could be with Isaiah, Wiggins and Towns. The defense would be awful though. Dallas might bite to get Dirk one last chance at the playoffs.

Ya the problem is the glut of point guards in the league, its hard to find a team that really needs one. In addition he's in the last year of his deal where as Butler has two years. Butlers also a vastly superior defender. On top of all that I wouldn't give up that package for Butler.

If the Knicks wanted to give Melo one last go (which I don't think is their goal) then they could be a partner. 

Maybe IT for their pick and Herangomez.

Otherwise I would say a team that wants to put fans in the seats.  The Pelicans would probably love adding IT to Davis and Cousins, but I'm not sure what they could offer. 

The Lakers would probably love IT as well (and I would love Larry Nance Jr in Boston!) but they have a bunch of guards anyways and could potentially add one in the draft.

Maybe the Lakers would take IT and use their pick to go after George?

But once again , the Heat with IT wom't be able to get by Lebron long as he is healthy and has his 120 million a year core in tact.
