He can play cheerleader for all I care, but Jaylen has to start next year.

Crowder has no business starting at any position.

Brown should start at the 2, Hayward at the 3.

Crowder should start on the bench or maybe start trade chatter. I know he worked hard and is a decent player....i just want more. Like consistency? A streaky 3 and decent D player does not need to start anywhere but on the bench

Crowder is fine as a starter, but starting Jaylen would be even better. Crowder coming off the bench would be ideal, but if we could package him in a big trade, that would be even better.

I'd be OK with Crowder at the 4 if Horford was a great rebounder, but he's not.  I'd be more OK with Crowder as the 7th or 8th man at the 3, Jaylen starting and someone who can rebound at the 4/5 to go with Horford.

As a stretch four off the bench (playing also minutes in SF position), yes. But not starting. If Horford is a bit undersized at C, we can't have a 6'6" or so PF.

I agree with this.  In a small ball change up lineup for shorter durations maybe?  But as a full time starter at the 4 no way, nooooo way.

the better question is will Brown improve enough over the summer and training camp to take the SF spot from Crowder outright.  Crowder should be coming off the bench on a good team.  it would be terrific if we had a player good enough to push Crowder to the bench

And with that - post 17,000.

So you're just going to create a logjam at the cheerleading position?

I voted no but only because I don't want Crowder starting at the 4

Love Crowder and his game but only in a bench role or small lineup. He is competent as a power 3 starter but we can do better using Jaylen  next season IMHO.  I think we should keep him if he accepts a lesser role inext year.

We are really hurting in the length department and we have zero depth at PF.  I hope this is a major focus by Danny for next year's roster. Kind  of a shame the best player is a PG  but we have to take him. By trade or FA is the only way we get the type of bigs we need.

I pray every day that this kid Zizic  comes to camp and can Crack the rotation. Imagine him starting at C next to Horford at PF.

Yabusele  needs more D league  time but also shows some long term promise.
