This.  I love this Celtics team, but unfortunately they're not very good.  I'm amazed that they've gotten this far.

The problem is we don't match up well at all with the Cavs. Our PG is banged up and he's 30 of our points. You can't make that up with out an other legit scorer. He's not the best defender, but with that hip issue, it's even worse.

Crowder is an overrated defender. Can't move his feet, and Lebron is blowing by him. Our best guy is a rookie, still raw, and gets little respect from the refs especially against LEbron. Couple of those fouls were bogus.

Horford would be better against Love, but we have know one to Check Thompson except for Smart who gives up 5 inches. And when the Cavs go small with LEbron at Center, Celts can't match that.

Plus the Cavs are just clicking. They're rested and on a mission. Stevens even said they are better then they were a couple months ago, and they are VERY well balanced with their roster.

We just battled in two series and had a day to rest and get ready for them. The C's are cooked, physically and emotionally.

Pride can only go so far. When you see a superior team toy with you with very little effort, kind of takes the wind out of you sails.

A 53 wins team that reached the conference finals 3 years since a place on the lottery and people still think that the coach is a joke, the GM scared, the players are overrated and weak.

I ve seen fans overreacting after a humiliating loss but this is a first...

TP, Exactly, our fans are the biggest obstacle to getting a top notch free agent to come to Boston. Hayward, please sign with us so once you get injured and try to fight through it, we can rip you down to peasant level. Great selling point.  Magnifying glass sprinkled with a heavy dose of bitterness and topped with a sprinkle of negativity.

 Big losses happen, humiliating defeats happen....even games where a player might be questioned for quitting(Lebron anyone remember? Kobe in game 7 vs our championship team when they got blown out?). Remember when the Sox were down 3-0 vs the Yankees in 2004..they surely quit in that series..or what about post championship Bird when his back was always injured...he kept trying to play through the pain but they stood zero chance of beating teams like the Pistons at less than full strength and they had a sick supporting cast. I bet if we had social media back in that time, we would have been saying Bird quit! LOL....I can only imagine...

If you think because a team gets blown out that they must have know pride, then the 1984 NBA champion Celtics must have had no pride. They lost to the Lakers in game 3 by 33 points in a game that wasn't that close. Obviously no pride in that team

You don't judge a teams pride by the way they get knocked down. You judge it by the way they get back up. This team got behind by 2 to Chicago and got back up with 4 straight. They got behind by 20 or so in consecutive games to the Wizards and got back up to win those games in comeback fashion and went on to win the series. Thats all pride.

Lets see how they get back up again.
