This is insane to have him broadcasting at this point, what an embarrassment he has been through the playoffs.

Marv has had an interesting private lifestyle, and it's surprising that, after things cooled down, he wound up back as an NBA announcer. Maybe that's because the media tends to be more forgiving for its own.

He was the Knicks broadcaster for decades--not sure if he's still doing that. The sports network media, based in NY, is dominated by people who grew up in NYC as Yankee or Knicks fans.

Marv was a great broadcaster for many years. He clearly is in decline. Kind of sad.

Marv was the best basketball announcer period for several years.  Unfortunately when announcers age, they don't process as quickly and they start making mistakes.  Marv never made mistakes in his prime.  It happens to all of them.

When the "Let's go Celtics" chant grew louder towards the end of the fourth quarter, he actually said he wasn't sure if the fans were doing it sarcastically or not. Just wow.
