Anyone hearing rumors about the Cs trading the No. 1 for Cousins?

One of my buddies said he was listening to an ESPN radio show this morning and some NBA analyst was saying that's what he's been hearing. Could be pure speculation, though.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

I was one that wanted Cousins, but now I'd rather pass.

Draft Fultz.

I think it will take more than #1 for Cousins if that's even a possibility too.

Danny could have had Boogie for less. He passed on him, which many of us didn't like, but he's not going to pay more now.

That said, I lament that we could easily be looking at a starting lineup of DMC / Horford / George / Bradley / IT. The alternative is pretty dang good too (keeping Fultz, Brown, Crowder and the 2018 pick, and maybe Hayward), but I do wonder how we get a competent starting big man.

I wouldn't trade #1 for him but I still couldn't imagine this team with Cousins.  The guy would ravage the east.

What?! The Pelicans got him for WAY less than #1, and now he only has one year left on his deal.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Cousins is valued significantly less. He was traded for nothing. Teams don't want him, that includes the Celtics

I would be shocked at that. Stevens is a very picky guy in the types he prefers to coach. He doesn't like troublemakers, and I'm not sure he wants dominant 5s who need the ball. I think their time to get Cousins has come and gone.

and yet you watch this series and wonder what a guy like Cousins could do with his mismatches, scoring, rebounding, passing, and defense.  I mean Gerald Green started at the PF position
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Little Brad afraid of the Boogie man. Too bad for us.....he'd be a huge difference maker for us now and in the Chi and Was series, so we wouldn't be so spent now.Grow a pair, Brad.

Great coaches like great teachers can coach/teach all types of players/students. It's easy to teach motivated, cooperative, engaged students. Teaching challenging (intellectually and motivationally) students takes a lot more courage, inventiveness and skills.

I see where you're coming from but these guys are supposed to be professionals.  I can see the organization not wanting to waste their time with the distractions of disciplining him and answering to the media.  I mean we're trying to coach and develope, not babysit.

Part of me wants Cousins but you really gotta think about those things.
