Again this trade is only if Hayward will sign here. The trade saves us over 7 million dollars, making room for Hayward.

The Sun's get better immediately with a core of Bledsoe, Booker, Bradley, Crowder, Chandler, and a top four pick likely Jackson or Tatum or knowing them a PG in Fox.

All or a sudden the Celtics roster is much more balanced and stacked with young bigs controlled for years to come.

We would have a short term step back at Avery's position but Fultz figures to be a big upgrade over time.

Smart and can Rozier can fill it right away and do a solid job. Brown and Hayward can play minutes there as well.

All this roster needs is experience out of those four Young bigs. Expect two of them to become excellent players.

 Horford, Zizic
 Bender, Chriss, Yabu
 Hayward, Brown, Nader
 Smart, Fultz
 Thomas, Rozier

I'm looking ahead to replacing Horford in three years. If we load up on Young bigs now, plus the fact that next year's Draft is big man loaded.

Our present and future big man rotation is looking very good. Bender could be a great fit with Al, Shoot, handle, drive and pass.

Chriss is just an athletic freak.

I think Fultz will be ready right away and prove it almost immediately. Also, IMO if Jaylen's steady progress continues, especially with almost 6 months off-season, he could prove at training camp that he needs 30 minutes a game at the 2/3. DA and CBS need to keep an eye on these 2 young guys because they both could make a jump in their game this off-season and that could change the way DA sees the other players status.

Bender right now is a dud.  Why would you want him he has no displayed one NBA skill?  Shooting was supposed to be a strong point of his yet his stats were:

35% FG Can't shoot
28% 3P  Can't shoot
36% FT Can't shoot

http://www.nba.com/players/dragan/bender/1627733

The only reason to get him would be to tank.  As I said before last year's draft Bender's best asset was that he was unknown.   They hide him and Phoenix has learned that he can't play nor is he even remotely ready to play NBA basketball.   Forgive me, if I don't want a Darko type project.

That is a really strange trade proposal.  To top it off you show Bender starting over Chriss.  Chris was pretty bad but at least the Suns started him.  Bender really, really sucked coming off the bench.  I'm fine with trading Bradley and Crowder but no way would I do that trade.

I love the idea.  (TP for creativity) I don't know if Phoenix would have any interest, but I think it would be a great move for the Celts.  In that scenario, there is no reason to let Olynyk go.

It makes sense to get rid of Bradley to make room for Fultz and salary cap room for Hayward.  If we keep Crowder, he's not ideal to be the primary 4 and I suspect he wouldn't be to happy with his role.  Chriss and Bender both have upside and are entering their second year when a lot of improvement tends to happen.  I suspect we might have to throw in something extra like a non Brooklyn first.  I also think we would need to find a serviceable veteran big, let's say David West.

Horford Zizic Bender
KO Chriss Yabu West
Hayward Brown Nader
Smart Fultz
IT Rozier

PHX would not do this deal. Bender still has great potential. He was starting to get it before getting injured. They like Chriss a lot too. Unless they have some urge to get older and have less control over their roster, I can't imagine they would entertain this.

Bender is raw as heck, but he provides three point shooting, Shot blocking, pick and roll defense,  passing, ball handler, all the things you need now adays.

Chriss is a physical phenom who's a basketball moron. Between the two I like the chances of striking gold once.

You have to admit they would be a lot better next year and going forward.

Crowder is locked up for cheap. There team defense would improve vastly. Veteran leadership that they don't have.

God no.

Bender is hopeless (as expected) and Chriss isn't much better.

We should be able to EASILY get a starting calibre big in return for Bradley and Crowder - they are two very good young players.  Not settling for trash.
