The issue is people are assuming we can't even play with lebron at this point which is sillyness. Lebron is on this game.  We aren't.  We can still match them and outplay them.

This is lebron at his best in his career too. And honestly im still not that impressed.

Wow you may be a tad bit picky then.

Man that would be awful if we swapped Fultz for George.

We should just be fortunate we've hit this peak while in this process.  Enjoy it.  We don't need a knee jerk reaction to bail out on the process and cash in for Paul George.  I'd rather have Fultz mature with Brown and next years big that we get from the 2018 pick.  That'll last the next 15 years.

Sure we're paying Al but he adds to the culture and helps this group grow.  He's not a reason to make a bad decision.

Crowder and #1 for Paul George.

As long as he is willing to sign an extension, that is who this team need.

He can create himself, and is very good off the ball so IT Horford and George is our trio.

Tired of seeing Crowder
tired of Crowder too but Paul George wouldn't have fixed tonight's mess.

I'll keep Fultz and build with the young guys who were the only ones that showed up to play tonight

You made a bunch of good points until you said you're not impressed by Lebron James. His combo of speed and strength on drives is uniquely stunning. You might have a special view on what good basketball is, but I believe that Lebron could be put on any basketball team in the history of man and shine. He's extremely impressive.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Wait for Lebron to age. That's when you strike. Not saying don't try to compete but long term goal should be contend when Lebron is about to retire.

Fultz and Jaylen will both be 19 years old when the season starts....think about that...NINETEEN!!
Build while staying competitive. Plus we have Nets #1 next season also! BUILD...I'd roll with:

IT
MF
(max FA)/JB
AH
AZ

Didnt take long for this kind of post. Yes, please give me one year of George so we can maybe win one game vs Cavs next year. If Lebron was in this draft, someone would be saying we should trade 1 for George. We finally have a chance at cornerstone player at top of draft. How about we keep it unless its for Davis.

I think you build for when LeBron is old or injured...

I agree, and I believe that Ainge and ownership agree too.  Really all the moves Ainge has made speak to fielding as competitive a team as possible while trying to build a team that is ready to step up when LeBron steps down.
