Doesn't this look like the 1st two game against The Wiz?

Anyone who thinks we beat the Cavs and Warriors by adding PG13 has no idea what they're talking about

Why does it have to stop there?

We have max cap space and the salary/assets to trade for another star.

To me a starting 5 of

It
Jaylen
Hayward
George
Horford

Actually matches very well with GSW

The last thing we should do is make reactionary moves based off of one playoff series, nevermind one playoff game.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Are you serious? You see how far away we are and want to go all-in now?!
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Sure, let's trade our future for a chance to play a couple more games against Cleveland. Sounds like a great idea to me.

How is it trading our future?

Paul George just turned 27, that's old now?

Paul Pierce played at a near elite level until age 34

That's 7-8 years of a top 15 player, with elite length and clutch ability.

Take him all day over fultz

1) sign Hayward
2) AB, Jae, #1 for George and maybe a future pick

IT.                       Rozier
Jaylen.              Smart
Hayward
George
Horford

Still have brk pick next year
Wooooowwwwww that's a gross overpayment for George. Wouldn't trade Fultz + fillers for him, nevermind Fultz + AB + Crowder.

''How is it trading our future?'' Well, George may be 27 but Fultz is 19, how about that?

Let's face it, no matter what we do in the trade market/free agency, we aren't beating the Cavs. And in the off chance we do, we aren't beating the Warriors with their 4 All Stars and 2 MVPs. So the way I see it, best thing we can do is be patient and build through the draft.

wyc said multiple times this season they are 2 pieces away.

If you can sign Hayward and add another top 10-15 player without giving up brk 18 or jaylen, they are going to do it, hell they already did the same thing in 2007. Only this time we still have very good young pieces with Jaylen brk 18, smart and a bunch of picks coming along with yabu and zicic

With or without PG, the Cs won't be clear favorites against the Cavs for the next year of two. No reason to give up a first pick

Lebron is on right now.  He definately is on a mission this season apparently with GS being so good and him aging a bit and he knows it. This is his time.

But we just came otu missing shots this game and lost our rhythm.  Got intimidated early.  Lebron was on. They are not always like this.  This is the best I've seen them all playoffs. I knew they wold turn it to another level at some pont. But they are not always like this.  We can't match it because we were caught off guard. But if the game started differently and we made shots and didn't lose our pace this game could be very different.

This is the kind of idiotic short-sighted move that has the Nets in basketball purgatory.

Thank God the OP isn't the Celtics GM.

Obviously we want to be better than them at their best.  our best better than their best ultiamtely.  We may go with more proven players to do that.  But  I'm not at that point yet.

I dont think we are building for when lebron retires.  That's silly.  We want to beat lebron.  We are building for now and later at this point.

Our team is underrated. This series is not even over.  I still like our chances.

Yeah, and if you phrase it like that, you have a point, but we still should not make any decision as big as this based off of one playoff game.

Exactly.

Plus, George is a loser. He throws his teammate under the bus after taking the last shot in game 1, then proceeds to miss every last shot he has taken the past 3 years. That Gatorade commercial is a fairy tale.

I'd love to have someone as good as Irving on our team. Fultz could be that good.

Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

The issue is people are assuming we can't even play with lebron at this point which is sillyness. Lebron is on this game.  We aren't.  We can still match them and outplay them.

This is lebron at his best in his career too. And honestly im still not that impressed.

We still would lose to the Cavs. Maybe we win against them in 2 years, but the problem is, George would be gone in 1. I'd rather take the risk on Fultz than go for a rental.
