 Once eliminated from playoff contention this season. We did everything we could to lose games.

I hate the wheel idea and don't see why it even got off the idea floor. Giving better picks to the worst teams is absolutely the right thing to do, especially in a star-driven league with small market teams.

Just implement roll-over lottery balls. If you have 6th best odds and don't hit top-3, no problem, you're going to be stacked next year with extra balls. No need to race for the very worst record. Everyone who hits top 3 will be behind you in chances next year.

The solution to tanking is to just go back to throwing 14 name cards in a rotating drum and having the commissioner pick out three for the top three picks.  Or have a weighted lottery but for all 14 picks, so the team with the worst record could conceivably get pick #14.

Taken in context it isn't as bad and really once a team is eliminated fro. The playoffs why wouldnt they tank.
