I mean, the guy is 24.

Averaged 50% from the field, 7 rebounds, a block and 6 points in 20 minutes. Locked in at $17 million for the next 4 years. I think he is someone worth exploring if the Celtics can't sign anyone.

Is this the production you expect from 17m ? You are right that AB could end up walking for nothing but I'd rather sign him to an extension rather than that.

I haven't watched BB enough though so i may be wrong here but i don't see anything intriguing here. Two starters of the EC finalist for a Magic benchplayer ???

Doesn't sound right

6 points and 7 boards in 22 minutes a night for one of the worst teams in the league and he's locked into $17 million the next two seasons with a player option for the 3rd where his contract jumps to $19 mil.

I flat-out don't want that on the Celtics.

If the Magic offered the Celtics Aaron Gordon but the penalty was they had to take Biyombo and his contract, I might consider it but he is absolutely not a guy I would target.

A bag of balls and tickets for yesterday's game.

How is it that I posted a great video of a Celtics fan reacting to the lottery, and that thread keeps dying. Yet this thread, kind of a throw away thought that I backtracked on 4 posts in, this stays alive?

It's funny

In all fairness to the OP, Biz is a defensive specialist. He is one of the best (if not the best) rim protectors/pick n roll defenders in the game. Having said that, he is a complete liability on offense and he would kill our spacing. If he were still paid 3 million a year (like he were in his Raptors days) I would love us to trade for him. Now I don't think it's worth it anymore. Not to mention he is most likely way older than what he claims to be.
