This is actually a pretty fair trade if you think Simmons is the real deal. Simmons would fit in well as a playmaking 4 on this team, and it would save us from the uncomfortable logjam of guards. However, I think the risk on Simmons is greater than Fultz due to him missing all of last year and the fact that he can't shoot for crap.

Is it very possible the player taken this year at 3 (Jackson/Tatum?) will be better than Brown, but even so Fultz is too valuable to give up. You'd have to really think Jackson or Tatum was a future star to convince me this deal is worth it.

WOW THAT POST in your sig!!! I was a lurker starting from the very offseason PP and KG were traded (for good reason because I'm still a teenager now lol). Just remembered that post when I saw it, you were one of the select few to have said this was an excellent trade. Hats off to you sir and TP!

Haha. Thanks man, back at you.

Honestly, I went back in time tonight because I was not sure what my position was back when that trade happened. I half expected to be eating crow right now. I don't get them all close, but I was pretty close with that one. You are right too, liking that trade was a minority position around here.
