I guess the silver lining is that before these 2nd half subs with Zeller, KO, and Rozier, we were actually beating the Cavs regular rotation by 5 points with 3 minutes left to go in the game.
In the 2nd half that is - 55 to 50.
That's what ticks me off, too. This was pretty much a mental game that they beat us at tonight. We played scared and timid from the get-go, and you could tell what kind of game it was going to be the entire time.
If we came out with the type of effort that we got in the third quarter, this would've been a much closer game.
I'll give them maybe a bit of leniency coming off that emotional game 7 with all of that energy expended, but they still should've played much better from the get-go.
