I will also say that Brian Scalabrine is terrific.  Very likable guy and really, really knows the game well.  Great personality and gives good insight as a former player and assistant coach.

Also gives some great opinions when it comes to evaluating young talent around the league.  He was actually involved in draft proselpect workouts for a few years.

I love when Scal calls out Felger when he says something stupid and never gives in to Felger's idiotic statements.

Even when so many people were down on Horford, Scal always praised him and said he'd be a huge factor in the playoffs.

I love Scal when he does color commentary or is in studio. I hate when he interviews. So awkward at it. It is weird how good he is at something and bad at the others.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Yes it's quite clear that most people at CSNNE cannot match Scal's basketball knowledge. I find it hilarious when he gives Kyle Draper a hard time   ;D

Speaking of CSNNE, most people on that channel are awful.  One person who doesn't necessarily do much analysis but I think is terrible at her job is Abby Chin.

I know it's not going to be a popular choice because she seems like a very nice person.  It's just that she has several crying-worthy interviews on a regular basis. She doesn't always ask great questions, has awkward silence, does not display great knowledge of basketball, and even said that the Raptors were Kelly Olynyk's former team.

CSNNE needs to hire more basketball people.  They should hire some of us hear at Celticsblog  :laugh:

I greatly dislike Jeff Van Gundy.

I feel like the problem with him is sometimes he just advocates for ridiculous stuff during a game that just sounds.. ridiculous.

But to be fair, he at least provides some humor in the ABC crew. If it was just Mark Jackson....  :o

Yes, indeed!

The Celtics could miraculously win the NBA Finals and the "negative" broadcasters/personalities would instead discuss how the other team choked and never give the Celtics credit.

Hell, they did that for most of their post Game 7-coverage.

Where's Wall? Where's Oubre? Where's Waldo?  ::)

Just some slight talk about Olynyk's performance, and that's about it.

If John Wall had 29 points and 12 assists and won Game 7, we'd be hearing about how he is the next Lebron James. But I haven't heard much about IT for doing the same...  ::)
