He didn't have a great series but Game 7 on the road, he puts up 38 points on 12/22 from the floor (5/10 from 3 and 9/10 at the line). He also played all but 2 minutes of the game. If he can carry this confidence into next season, he might yet fulfill those "the next Ray Allen" conversations people were having a few years ago.

Especially when you consider he'll only turn 24 next month.

I was impressed by both Beal and Wall in this series. Props to the Wizards all around, they put up quite a challenge.

Wasn't it only a year or so ago that people were saying he could never exceed 30-35 minutes in any one game the remainder of his career? He certainly put that to rest. If not for Oly's outburst (along with IT) at the end of the 3rd, start of the 4th, we would certainly be talking about Beal's brilliance.

Yeah agreed.  Very impressed with the Wiz.  Tough players and weren't backing down at all.   They need a back up point guard and some help on the bench.
