If the worst case scenarios play out, how do you feel about this team going forward?

The glass would be half empty for me, but then become half full.

I'd be disappointed that we lost the series when we were only a few seconds from sealing and stealing it in game 6...and then the next day, having the ping pong balls become wrecking balls to what could have been.

...but then, time would pass and I'd start thinking, "HEY, we almost made the Finals this year...AND we have a Top 4 pick in a loaded draft!"

Translation:  Immediately disappointed, ultimately excited for the upcoming season.  It's ok to realize when the grey clouds show up, but you've always got to be looking for that sunny side of life! :)

Still good. We can move up in the draft by dangling Crowder, Smart/Rozier and our other picks (like the 2nds, Memphis 1st, Clippers pick, etc). If that's still not enough to draft Fultz I'd pick Fox with the 4th pick, he has a ton of potential. Also I don't think losing game 7 would hurt us as much as people would like to think, we'd still have a good shot at signing Hayward. If we need to entice Hayward I'm in for giving up Fox and a few more small assets for a young PF like Porzingis (I know there are many debates about his value but if he's truly disgruntled I think New York would be wise to let him go for Fox+Crowder+Yabusele+a few 2nd round picks+KO, who we would not sign anyways lol).
Lineup:
IT Rozier Jackson
Bradley Smart Young
Hayward Brown Green
Porzingis FA (eg. David West/Ilyasova) Mickey
Horford Zizic O'Quinn (assuming new york gives us a player back)
That's a contender imo and we'd still have the 18 Brooklyn pick to add another young guy to our Smart+Brown+Porzingis core (not including Rozier because I don't see him being special, Smart is playing badly right now but I see him being special very good player later on in his career)

I'd be very disappointed, even though the team would still be in a great position going forward.  If we lose tonight, winning the lottery would cheer me up immediately.  I'd much rather get the number #1 pick than advance to face the Cavs.

Successful season, exceeding what most thought at the beginning of the season. Personally I thought we'd be the 3rd seed and get knocked out by Toronto.

Good growth from the players this year, including special mention of the season IT has had.

Happy to have the 4th pick given my outlook at the start of the season (predicted 4th-6th odds I think).

A tinge of disappointment given how expectation grew on both fronts as the season went on but that's where perspective helps.

I'd feel great. Honestly, this team has done great this year, and DA has done well by the team in terms of planning for the future. 4th pick in what many call a very deep draft? Yes please!
Celtics fan for life.

If Celts just had a decent rebounder... We would have won this series vs wizards already

Not only is being outrebounded like every game sad but the offensive rebounds by oppoeing teams embarressing

I would hope at 4 they take Tatum. Please do not touch either of the Kentucky players. Fox would make no impact next season or the season after. He is 180 pounds. He would get destroyed...plus it give Boston another small guard that is a ball handler.

I think Tatum would be gone in the top 3. Fox is more of a backup PG/ trade chip for Porzingis

I am pretty sure the top 3 will be Fultz, Ball and Jackson. I have not seen Tatum going top three. Other than Fultz, I like him the most in this draft. I think Fox is another Brandon Knight.

I'm pretty sure I'll be pretty disappointed, just do to the fact, all they had to do was hold onto the ball and they win game six.
They did pretty much everything wrong in the last 1:20, so it they lose series, I will be disappointed. That being said, I do love a game 7 and fully expect them to win at home.
As far as lottery pick, I guess i'll be somewhat disappointed, but only because it would be nice to have the choice, I really don't watch enough college basketball to know who to pick. I go by what I read.

I think we win tonight by 7 tonight

Get the 2nd pick...Suns get the #1

Steal 1st game on Wednesday due to rust by Cavs.

Will win tonight and Still think Boston gets the #3 pick. Just seems like the place they always land in situations like this.

Danny takes Jackson or trades it away..
