I am expecting Fox to go in the 6-10 range.

I doubt a PG goes top 5 these days without a better jump shot.

I would call it due diligence.

I think it's Phoenix wanting Butler, they have a hole at the SF spot and definitely have the young guys and picks to make an intriguing package

Butler is now represented by WME, who also represents Lebron's entertainment side of his portfolio.

Point being, Butler would be p---ed off to be sent to the Suns and any player represented by WME would have to think twice about continuing such a relationship IF they allow a STAR to get traded to a pitiful team like the Phoenix Suns!!!!  Also, other NBA stars would think twice about signing with WME!!!

I think a Bledsoe Booker Butler Chriss Chandler lineup is pretty beastly.  That's at least a playoff team with room ro improve as Chriss and Booker continue to develop (Chandler can be replaced by Len as he ages even more)

So, what are they sending to CHI for Butler? Bender, Ulis and a 1st? You need some bench too.
Yeah I think it would be Ullis, the 17 pick and Bender. They still have Knight and Len as bench players. For wings they could certainly sign some 3 and D guys in FA.

WHY would the Suns trade for a guy that just has ankle surgery and will be out for 12 weeks minimum??

And WHY would the Bulls want a big man that had a 5.3 PER and averaged a whooping 3.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in freaking 13.3 minutes???

When they could have Crowder and our top 4 pick and maybe Bradley????

if they are trading  Butler it is a rebuilding type trade and in that scenario you'd rather have Bender than Crowder and I don't think it is really much of a question. Now if it was Crowder, Smart or Brown, and the pick that is a different stoey.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Because they CAN'T get all that for Butler. If Danny was willing to give all that up, he would be wearing green already.
I'm bitter.

That was WELL BEFORE Avery had shown what he can do in prime time in the playoffs!!!!!

They will be VERY LUCKY to get that from Danny at this point.  I HIGHLY doubt Danny gives up AB, Crowder, and our #3 or #4 pick in this draft NOW!!!

Avery should be out of the question. And I'm talking about him overall, not because of the last two games.

We would be fools to trade a top four pick.

WHY?????????????

To get a proven TWO-WAY STAR for a player that might be comparable to Jaylen Brown?????

WHY NOT??????????

We have a 3-year window with Big Al.  We better get players that can win NOW!!!!  I am so sick of hearing that we should just wait out GS and the Cavs.  Heck no.  Get the players to beat them NOW!!!! If we wait, there might be a new two teams that are power houses to deal with.  You have to beat the best to be the best!!!

I wouldn't trade Brown straight up for Butler. Or the 2017 Nets pick.

The way I see it, Butler is a best case scenario for Josh Jackson and Jayson Tatum, and Lonzo is an easy pass. If Jackson or Tatum surpass Butler as a player I would be shocked. It would be a smart trade IMO as long as long as Fultz is off the board as long as we aren't giving up anything else of value.

Bradley is injury-prone, inconsistent, and a year away from a 20+ million dollar deal.

Hes not untouchable. No way.

As an aside, I think Fox is the most underrated prospect in this years class. I think he has John Wall type potential.

Chicago has to decide whether Butler is their guy or not now.  They need to learn the lesson from the Kings' waffling on Cousins.  Butler should have good value this offseason if they do decide to trade him.

Teams with top 10 picks that I think would have significant interest in him would be:  Sixers (especially if they get the Lakers pick), Magic (new GM making a splash), TWolves, Mavs and NOP (if they get lucky and keep their pick).

I haven't said he's untouchable, you can read me again. He can be moved to have the right player, but not for Butler.

Also, I wouldn't call inconsistent a player who has improved every year since he arrived in the league and now is averaging this season (maintained in POs) 16+ ppg, 6 rpg, 2+ apg, 1+ spg, with 46% shooting and 39% from three.
