Idk about AB. Feel he gets dealt draft night.

What kind of haul would you be looking For? I think to the kings for 10 + one of their young bigs in return for the Bradley and the clippers first or a couple seconds.

At 10 Zach Collins would be a good shot.

That is unless you are assuming it's BRK+Bradley for Butler or George
I think Thunder, Pelicans and Wolves will coming knocking for AB. Don't see Kings being interested.

Yea I honestly don't either because of Hield. I'm not sure we would be interested in what the Thunder or Pelicans would be offering, but the Wolves would be interesting.
Thunder could offer a rebounder and decent pick & roll big in Kanter. Oladipo then comes off the bench to spell AB or Westbrook helping the bench.

Wolves would be dealing their pick next year unprotected for AB.

Pelicans should likely be selling on Cousins. So I think it's Cousins for AB, Nader, Clippers 1st and C's 2018 1st.
I'd like to see the universe where trading AB could return an unprotected 1st.  Actually I wouldn't because it clearly wouldn't be bound in reality.

NOP just traded Hield and a top 10 pick for Cousins.  I doubt that they'd turn around and trade him and certainly not for that offer.

IT.         Rosier
AB.       Fultz/Ball
Hayward.    Jaylen
Horford.       Yabu
R Lopez.      Zicic

Unless IT, AB, and Hayward sign for under $10 mil, that's a $150+ mil roster. Not happening.

If you have 3 top 5 picks under rookie contracts developing along with them, I don't see why not.
Because as far as I can tell you have 3 max contracts and two big ones. Then you have at least two or three more guys to pay coming up.
Even with that 150M team, we wouldn't be a favorite against GSW or the Cavs.

I'd like to take a chance on is Jahlil Okafor. Smart 4 Okafor. Okafor has a 7'6.25'' wingspan and 9'3'' standing reach(probably more like 9'4'') and has more conditioning to do but is naturally muscular for his age. IMO with some polishing to his game and time he could be a legit part of our core.

We need a Noel type much more next to Horford. Horford has shown he can provide points from the big man spot. We need a versatile rebounder/defender next to him IMO. That's not Okafor.

All he has to do is be able to rebound, defend the pick and roll, improve his defensive awareness, have a better motor, pass effectively out of a double team, not hold the ball on offense, extend his range, and not miss games due to injury.

He's a one trick pony in an era where that one trick is no longer cared for.

Are you serious? Do you follow the NBA trade value at all? They couldn't get a top 20 pick for okafor last season and now we give them smart? Danny would be fired

If it means we get Fultz, I'd happily trade Smart for Okafor.  Okafor would actually be useful against the Wizards.  He's had some of his best games against Gortat.

Doesn't his attitude scare you at all?   Lack of drive?   Seems like another guy who goal was to get to the NBA and then has none.   We just got rid of Jared, and another bad conditioning guy and you want another?

It ( I think he will sign a reasonable contract to win)
AB ( same as IT)
Horford

They all likely have about 4 years in their prime, and are all-star level.

Smart, Crowder,Rozier  are trade chips

Jaylen, brk 17 +18 are stronger trade chips , or future core learning while they get playoff experience.

Then you got the possible max slot

Give me Hayward, Fultz/Ball , and a legit defensive big man ( By using Crowder/Smart and picks)

IT.         Rosier
AB.       Fultz/Ball
Hayward.    Jaylen
Horford.       Yabu
R Lopez.      Zicic

I still think people underrate how important Marcus is for this team and how much Brad and Danny value him.

Well currently in this universe you have to over pay for the better player in a deal and given C's are getting worse part of the deal in the short term that means Wolves over pay. Also Wolves would take a huge step to getting to the playoffs that's worth a 12-17 range pick without a doubt.

As for Cousins it's clear they have no idea how to use him with Davis. The win improvement after the trade was underwhelming. Also there are concerns about resigning him. His value with just a year left and no commitment to resign is less than that at the deadline.

If AB is being traded its going to be for picks and a trade exception as the Celtics need cap space to sign a max free agent. The picks would also be future picks as the Celtics wouldn't want to add more salary by drafting in this year's first round.

Trading Bradley allows for the Celtics to keep depth in the frontcourt by re-signing Olynyk while signing someone like Hayward.
