Would you rather the Celtics land the 1st pick, or for the Lakers to fall out of the top 3 and lose their pick?

Who cares about the Lakers, they are light years away from being a playoff team let alone for us to care about them.

I want that no. 1 pick bad, and the only way Id settle for no. 2 is if the Lakers are first since they may be getting Ball and we still end up with Fultz.

THat said, why can't we have both?

While I enjoy a little Lakers-based schadenfreude, I'd prefer the #1 pick.

This is too easy. Who cares about the Lakers anymore? No Kobe, Magic, etc. Just another team.
Also, if they lose the pick, it goes to Philly, who are in the East. Don't need to help them improve.

I'm baffled that at this point 3 people in the poll are more concerned with the Lakers taking a marginal hit versus the C's getting the top prospect in the draft.

always hope the Lakers get screwed but if the options are either the C's get great news and LA doesn't suffer or LA suffers and C's get ok news, I'll take the scenario that benefits the C's every time

This.

The Sixers may have been bad for a long time, but they are a division rival we play 4 times a year and getting better rapidly. I would prefer they not get an extra lottery pick. We play the Lakers less often and if we do meet them in the finals it is always epic.

The Lakers lose the pick either way... It's not like they're going to be good next year, and their pick will be unprotected then.

Though to be fair, it's way worse for them if they lose it this year because then they toss Orlando an unprotected 2019 pick too.

I voted with the majority, but this is actually an important point.  The last thing we need is for Philly to get a great pick 1-3.  That will complete a nice young core along with Embiid, Saric, Simmons that could be good for years to come.  Lakers won't be good for a while.

God once spoke to a man and he said, "I'll give you anything you want. But I'll give your worst enemy twice what I give you."

The man thought for a minute and said, "Make me blind in one eye."

Take the #1. Leave the Lakers.

lakers will take Fultz first if they get thse chance . id bet that is 99 percent deal.

Suns might take ball first .

Even if the Lakers added George and a Top-3 pick, all they are doing is making the playoffs and getting swept by Golden State or San Antonio.
