  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I don't know if I trust Crowder to guard Bogdonavic.  His defensive awareness isn't the greatest, and he's prone to leave him open on the perimeter.

Problem solved I guess, Crowder being subbed out.

Personally, watching the game, I felt like Crowder and Johnson have been the most effective on D.

Crowder is jumping and switching on literally everything, especially when it involves Isaiah, who's stature isn't that large.

We're literally forcing the Wizards into a corner right now, and they aren't fighting back hard enough.

So far, so good.  If the 3rd qtr goes as well as the 1st, we're in great shape.

Look forward to the warm welcome Oubre will receive.

Dang  those offensive boards.
It's how they stayed alive last game until the Celtics collapse. It's a serious problem.

Shows how much strength Smart has.... Pushing back Gortat hard enough, that he almost seems like he's flopping. (Gortat rarely flops, one of the reasons why I love the Polish hammer so much.)

Just have to take it a possession at a time.

Another big run would be nice  ;D

I'm not sure if there's a ref I despise more than Ed Maloy. Ever since that blatant cheat job against the Heat in 2012 that he was a part of, I can't stand him as a referee.

I take that back. Marc Davis is definitely the worst, then Ed Maloy.

Backing in? Foul on Smart. What's backing in? Isn't that boxing out?

That was a heck of a fast break by the Celtics!! The ball movement on that play was old-school Celtics fast break basketball I'm impressed!!

It is amazing after how bad the celtics looked those last 2 games that they found their def energy and mojo.  Hopefully it lasts.  When we get after it on D it completely changes how we play on off.
