Stevens needs to be quicker to the trigger in terms of switching up a stagnant offense. A 26-0 run is absolutely unacceptable, at some point the personnel on the floor is the problem.

Absolutely correct!
Are we seriously critizing the coaches in this situation?!?!?!?  There is absolutely nothing a coach can do when he's outgunned.

He's not tinkering lineup when he knows its not working. He deserves a share of blame. Not taking out Crowder when he's laying an egg throughout the series deserves a flak.

If he actually tried all possible rotations and its still not working, maybe then he can get a pass.

crowder useless
please put in brown

Why would he put the #3 pick in the NBA draft in?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Start Brown. Play for the [dang] future if anything else. You get ZERO by starting Amir. Get Brown experience.

He just keeps throwing Smart and Cowder out there and they are playing very poorly giving no offense, that's on coach....

I can't understand a rational reason why CBS doesn't give Jaylen Brown a chance here.

Has there ever been a team in the playoffs in back to back games let up runs of 22-0 and 26-0? I mean Washington is not a great team by any means and the fact they just did this again tells you how bad the Celtics can be and are flawed. I mean what will Cleveland do if forbid the Celtics actually get lucky and win this series? 60-0?

Cleveland won't let that happen. Lebron will sweep whoever he sees next in the Eastern conference finals.

seems like the series decider right here.
Not yet.  We still have a shot but let's not be blind.  Wash is clearly the better team.  And it's not close.  But we can still win two home games.

ok so who is untouchable? i say trade whoever as long as it makes us better as a team. i am not playing the favorites game anymore.

Isaiah Thomas, Al Horford, Jaylen Brown.

Say what you want about IT but his scoring is the ONLY reason this team is where it is and how we are even in a Game 4 of a 2nd round.

Trade him away and this team is a 25-win team.

See this offense without him? Pathetic.
id say horford is untouchable unless its for Davis or Towns

Just put in brown and maybe green and see if they can hit big shots

There are no big shots left in this game, just garbage time.

I'm usually pro-Crowder around here, but not anymore.

Can't shoot, takes ill-advised 3s, and what defense is there to speak of?

He's our "Lebron-container"???

I wouldn't mind Crowder so much if he was a better rebounder.  But he is pretty useless rebounder

Second or third beat rebounder on the team.. it's his shooting that has sucked.. and his defense suffers when he not shooting well

I feel I can just set this quote to repeat every game:

this is a team of jumpshooters.  when they're on, they can beat anyone.  when they're off (like tonight) they can lose to anyone.

having said that, I just cannot fathom why Brad didn't call a timeout early in the half to stem the bleeding asap.  even 2 timeouts if needed

This series shows that Boston standing pat at the trade deadline was not a good idea. They just don't have enough players. A lot of grinders...only one or 2 players
