A whole lot of trouble.

We've won two games at home but have been outplayed for the majority of games.  And were downright annihilated last night.  The match ups are not in out favor.  Was actually having nightmares about IT's defensive responsibilities last night.  There simply isn't anyone on that team he can guard without sacrificing on the offensive end.  And that's the key.  The more he has to do on defense, the less he will be able to do on offense.  Their starters are head and shoulders above ours, and they have the best two way player in the series by far.  We're the team needing to scramble to  adjust to them.

Pretty much the only chance we have, save for injuries, is home court advantage.

How many games have we won in the last five minutes this year? It's been amazing. And it shows this team is overperforming and has a big, big heart and even bigger guts. This is what happened in games 1 and 2.

I think the Wizards are a better balanced team than us, but we can beat them and improve our team in summer via draft and free agency. And most teams still competing have a difficult salary cap situation and no top picks. Let's be optimistic in this sense!!

We're up 2-1 and have home court advantage.. I'd say we are in less trouble then the Wizards.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
If Isaiah is going to be in the game, then the offense needs to revolve around him as a scorer or play maker using LOTS of picks to get him open. If he is just going to play off the ball, then it may be useless because he was getting absolutely torched on the defensive end...enough that the Wizards seemed to be laughing about how easy it was to score on him. For as many guards as we have, only one can consistently break down the defense.

I still think IT should start because he is one of the best scorers of the basketball in this league, though perhaps cutting a few of his minutes, but really featuring him when he is out there (like we do in the 4th) will help bring the momentum in our favor and limit his defensive ineffectiveness.

only here could the fans think being ahead 2 to 1 in a playoff series is a harbinger of doom and destruction.  :P
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

No trouble at all. Trouble is, these days, teams are expected to win every game in a playoff series. Doesn't happen often--even with the old Celtics dynasty teams. Not possible to maintain the same intensity every game. These are pretty high intensity games. Celts are still in the drivers seat.

Lol we are not in trouble at all. We still have home court advantage; Washington still sucks on the road; Boston is still a good team on the road; and we still have a 2-1 game advantage.

Once Brad finds the right combo to start off the game and not spot them 20+ point leads, we'll be fine. At the very least they still have to find a way to win in Boston, which they haven't been able to do in the past 2+ years.

Last year, the Cleveland/Toronto series was tied 2-2 when they went back to Cleveland for game 3. Were they in trouble then? Will Cleveland be in trouble tonight if Toronto wins at home? No, because they'll still be in the driver's seat and have both a series lead and home court advantage.

Man, we lose 1 playoff game after winning 6 straight and people panic. They will play great Sunday and put this series away.

Maybe so. I can't deny that it's crossed my mind that the Wizards could do to Boston what Boston did to Chicago—lose the first two, then win four in a row. Stranger things have happened.

I don't, however, believe that will happen here. If Boston wins game 4, they have a commanding lead heading back home. If they lose game 4, they still have homecourt advantage in what essentially becomes a best-of-three series.

That said, the Celtics do need to come out playing much more inspired to start game 4.

I think we're in trouble in general, we've been in route to be blown out in all games. First two games we made 2 improbable comebacks and sustained it. Last game we couldn't come back.

I'm sorry, but that simply can't be the modus operandi.

Yeah. And we've got the best player in the series. No reason to panic.
