I think we lose game 3 and win game 4. However, if the Wiz continue to give up 125 ppg and let IT average 40 ppg this series is over.

I live in the DC area and will be at game 4. I would love to bring a broom but i think we go down tomorrow. Wall has to play the entire game because the Wiz have NO BENCH.

If we play a solid 48 mins when on the road, we win.

They will fight for their lives and that is always tough to deal with.
Both games are do-or-die for them, as they are unlikely to beat us 3 games in a row, with 2 being at home. I liked the physicality we showed last game, it was just the thing we needed to do. Mentally and physically we outplayed them and if they don't respond - it is done.

Boston to shoot less than 43% from three and Washington to shoot better than 35% from three. Just how much will dictate if Boston can steal a game but I would expect to return 2 and 2.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

All we need is a split however game 3 is the key game in this series now. keep our winning streal going and take game 3 and this series will be over. they will be defeated mentally and psychologically. we may be in their heads already anyway as previously doscusssed here. i say go all out to get game 3. this will be DC's biggest pushback IMO. win game 3 and you rip their hearts out.  if we lose 3 and still muster a win in game 4 we are still in great shape.

we need to make somebody else beat us other than wall. we will need others to step up as they try the same with IT. we need brown and rozier to bring it all game next two games.  Those two are our wildcards right now. we have to play D for 48 minutes and have to box out and rebound better. if we could rebound and stop all the second chances we would be so much better off. but as easily as we coulda blown the WHIZZ out they could have done teh same to us. we cannot keep making the mistakes we have and get away with it. We play like that again they will blow us out. CBS needs to clean it up. rebound, box out, stop TO's, make smart choices in offensive end. go to the hoop and draw fouls.

Hahahahaha

Expecting a sweep and nothing less

Only way we lose is Wizards play like yesterday and IT4, and the team on go on a coldspell

The good thing from last nights game is CBS able to throw 4 different defenders on Wall... Just causing him physical and mental strain.... By the end on the end Brown fresh legs was too much for Wall

expecting a similar game to game 2, not overtime though but a dog fight between the two teams. I hope we can take one from their home court

that is a good point you make. CBS could be mixing and matching to see who defends wall best but to confuse him and cause him grief as well as physical play trying to beat him down and wear him out over time. we really did not play smart at all and still won. if we clean up all the issues i laid out and play smart and make smart choices we should be ok.

I don't think the final score in the first two games really reflect how close these games have been (though OT in game 2 would show it was).  Both teams seem to get hot at different times (Wizards early and Celtics late).  Really been a series of runs and I think both teams have had double digit leads (or close to that) in each game.

Beal's performance concerns me that he's been so cold and yet the games have been close.  I didn't watch them in the first round so not sure if he's been cold all playoffs, if it's the celtics' defense or if he's just having a rough stretch.  You'd have to think he'd get it together when they return home.

I think a split, but wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics take game 3.   The Wiz have a depth issue and it showed as Wall was so tired in the 4th and overtime.   Do the have enough time to fully recover?

Horford has to continue to come up big. We'll see if he can sustain that. A guy like Millsap to take the heat off him up front would greatly benefit at this point. He's a lone wolf up there.

It's very hard for me to see a sweep, but I certainly do think we'll get one of the two games, probably game 3.

Just like last series, it seems that at times we start off much more focused on the road than at home, which will be crucial to winning in Washington. We can't expect to get down big early and come back in Washington. We have to play our best right from the get-go, otherwise they'll blow us out. Luckily, we should have one of Smart or Jaylen starting next game, so we won't be handicapped from the get-go like the last two games.

All that being said, I can just as easily see a 20 point loss as a convincing win for the C's. That's just the volatile nature of these two teams.
