The Celtics have won FIVE straight postseason games.

That's happened for the fifth time in the franchise's history.

The previous four occasions, the Celtics made the NBA Finals each time

I think it's a sign...  ;D  ;)

Yep.  The last time they won so many postseason games in a row was 2010, when they won the final 3 against Cleveland and first theee against Orlando.

The parallels to the 2004 Pistons team are erie. I mean, they even had a top lottery pick in a deep draft like we do, and the Lakers that year were the overwhelming favorite to win it all like GS is.

people keep writing off the 4 in a row or 5 in a row thing but its very hard to accomplish this type of streak in the playoffs. The Celtics have essentially continued their #1 seed type of regular season winning ability into the playoffs.

As long as they allow Lebron to travel and commit offensive fouls at will, it will be difficult for us to reach the finals. No impossible, just hard.

Those are some crazy analytics.  But seriously, if we were to sweep the Wizards, would you believe they had a decent chance of beating the Cavs?  I'd honestly give them a shot.
