Stop blaming Ainge when it's mostly the coach's fault. They won over 50 games. Put together a good playoff rotation. Brad hasn't and it's showed.

IT, AB, and Jae should all probably be on different teams next year. There's no reason to pay IT what it's going to take to keep him, and the same can be said with AB. Jae shouldn't be starting, simple as that. He should be off the bench with his poor ass BBIQ.

Brown is looking great!

I don't get why he hasn't sniffed the court the entire game??!!
Hes looking great in garbage time.  Doesn't mean much, if anything.  If you watch him earlier, he is very lost during important times of the game.

Brown's size gives Butler problems.

Yeah but Brad Stevens gives Brown problems.

We immediately squandered the lead once he was subbed in for Amir in the 1st quarter after he made some defensive mistakes.  It was a bad sub by Brad.

So for the draft - best player available regardless of position.  A week ago I'd have said you've got your core, draft with need in mind.  I think the core needs to be retooled.

He's still playing against starters and he only played 4 minutes before this, 4 minutes....

Can we get rid of everyone and just rebuild around Smart, Brown, the overseas guys, draft picks, and cap space?

Next game will be really telling. This was figuratively a must-win, but next game will be now or never. Home court advantage matters, but wins matter more.

The series isn't over, but this is very disappointing. I agree with others that things will look much different going into next season; I'm just not ready to wait until November to see meaningful games again.

yeah Im in the same boat. I know 2017-2018 season is the real start, but its gonna ba a tough few months for me. For a few years now Ive thought of this team as a placeholder until we get the right pieces in place. I think this offseason serves as a good blueprint on whos a keeper and whos not. I think right now we can be sure Ainge will not bat an eye to signing Hayward/Griffin and lose Amir, Zeller, Jerebko, Olynyk et al. Its gonna be easier for fans to accept trading Bradley as well.

But you know fans are gonna be fans, and next year even if we improve, nothing is gonna be too good for them, this place gonna still be toxic until we win the championship.

Flawed logic.  This was the concern among many fans and analysts -- good regular season team (well-coached, cohesive) without the talent to succeed in the playoffs.  What would be a good playoff rotation?  Undersized guards and absence of a frontcourt isn't enough to get it done.

Rondo with 11 pts, 14 asts, 8 rebs, 5 stls, and a +26

IT with 20 (6-14), 2 asts, 4 rebs, 4 TOs and a -22.

Dude seriously shut the hell up!!!! MAybe if he wasn't the entire f4cking offense it wouldn't be so f4cking bad!!! He practically has to make every play out there just to make the offense work!!

Hate to agree with the guy who is yelling but this is correct.

Naw, it'd still be bad. He's simply just one of the worst defenders in the league. He's a big reason why we're making them out to be like the Warriors with our terrible D.

yeah and he sucked in those 4 minutes.

I mean he cant be worse thaan some of the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. we have, but he has sucked when given the chance.

This team is a complete disgrace to the game and the league. Don't even deserve to be in the playoffs...number 1 seed my ass.

This small ball crap is so over. We need some positional size.

I'm tired of seeing Rondo on the move looking over IT's head finding the open man.
