... and the 2018 #1 for?

Andrew Wiggins?
Anthony Davis?
John Wall?
Klay Thompson?

All we ever hear about is PG13 and Butler but these are all guys that many people haven't talked about. I'm not advocating a trade just asking the question.

Nobody talks about those guys in a trade because none of them are available.

Yea. Klay may shake loose down the line, but otherwise those guys don't get mentioned because there's no reason for their teams to trade them. Can't force a team to want to make a trade.

No need. Just draft a young potential future star from top of draft and make him our much needed 6th man scoring option off the bench. Groom them to be our future starter. We save cap space for free agents this way and still fill gaps in our needs

I'd only trade two possible franchise players for Anthony Davis. Not the rest.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
For Davis, KAT, and a few select players, but as people said they aren't getting traded any time soon.

Klay Thompson is an amazing player, but is he really worth the 1st pick? And think about how much more stacked the GSW would be...

Yes for everyone on your list except Wiggins.  But probably wouldn't be enough for anyone on the list BUT Wiggins.

I would trade one #1 for Wiggins and KAT all day. I'm not trading two potential #1s for almost any player.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Andrew Wiggins? No way, he's bad
Anthony Davis? Yes.
John Wall? Probably not - we can't pay big $$ to another PG
Klay Thompson? No

People sleeping on Klay Thompson as usual.  I was very confident that Harden would blow up when he was traded.  I am just as confident that Thompson would blow up as well.  He is an MVP caliber talent if given the chance.

If we land #1 overall, that'd be a huge boon. That said, kinda bummed that it's another PG. As if we don't have enough smalls on the roster. The ones on the list are intriguing, but none of them are discussed because none of them are seemingly available.

Wiggins is not a good player at this point and shouldn't be on this list.

Davis is unattainable at that price.

While it's debatable, Wall and Thompson aren't worth the top pick in this draft plus a very high lottery pick next year.
