I went with no, although I'd be tempted for #2 and 3 or 4. The #1 and #4 picks this year may turn out to have been interchangeable, and two picks would give us two bites at the apple. But I don't really want to pick up two guaranteed salaries if we are going to be signing a max free agent, and we already have enough young players to weave in.

the answer is No.  We do not need extra draft picks unless we are going to flip em for a veteran. Keep #1 draft Fultz.

This draft I would do it.  3 could end up as good as 1 and 5 would be bonus value.

I'd consider it if we could draft JJ 3rd

This concept again.  So many threads on this.

Well if we could somehow know for sure who was going to draft whom, then it might be worth it.  I would rather have the #3 and #4 though.  You might be able to flip the #4 pick for a veteran to fill another hole in the team.

I would keep the top pick and take the guy you like the best.  Remember, the C's have been trying to maintain as much salary cap flexibility as possible, so adding two top five picks would really hamper that.

There are drafts when you would consider this, but not this year.  There is virtual unanimous agreement that Fultz is the #1 prospect and he plays one of the two most important positions on the court.  I love IT and Smart and want to keep them but Fultz has the potential to be Chris Paul or better.  You can't pass that up.

What if the Cs get the #2 pick after the lottery?

Would you trade the #2 for 3 & 4 if Fultz is taken by Team TBD with the #1 pick?

I would have to think that's a no-brainer yes, if you're of the mindset like others in this thread that Fultz is the best player in this draft and Ball, Jackson, and Tatum are the next tier.

I'd make that trade.  I would even consider trading the #2 for 3 & 5 in that scenario.

I'd need 2 and 4 at the very least. Draft Jackson and Tatum. Slot Brown at the 2 long term.

Which teams hold both of those picks?

Should think about it imo

I like jackson, fultz... But lots of other good prospects from 3-8

Sixers could get the lakers pick if it falls below third (4+).

I'd trade 1 for 3/4.

I know Fultz is supposed to be great offensively...but I don't have a good read on how good overall he's supposed to be...distribution, defense, etc.  So I'd be tempted to say yes, but partly out of ignorance.

I'd take in order of preference:
Jackson and Fox
Tatum and Fox
Jackson and Tatum

I think Tatum will end up playing lots of 4 in the NBA.  He's got huge shoulders and when he fills out should be fine with decent minutes at the 4.  And I really like Fox.  Though some kind of trade would have to happen relatively soon.
