What did we do on our 3 days off?  Our defense has completely disappeared.

Seems like we lack toughness

and when teams want to play tough they beat us

Which is just absurd, given that's been our identity the past two years.

I think the mentality might be toughness but they lack the physicality.

We are weak.

As much as a guy like Smart is big and tough and plays that way, it won't mask everything.

We are soft

71 points to the hawks

that was a disappointing half of basketball.  :P

the hawks are shooting well, but add in lazy defense and it makes for an ugly game by boston.

Honestly, it might be best for us to get bounced in the first round this year. That way at least Danny knows that we're nowhere near close to where we need to be, and we need to keep our assets.

The display of basketball that we've put on the court lately is just putrid.
getting bounced in the first round would not be best... at all.

Eh, obviously it's not the most ideal option, but it at least gives Danny a clear route to head in.

I just don't think this team has the makeup or essential composition to be a true contender. We're too small, too soft (inexplicably), and too limited.

God.  This is absolutely awful!  It's maddening that no one on this team
Knows how to box out.

The Nets are about to lose and lock up no worse than a tie for #1 lottery odds. That is more important than this, so...umm...yay.

It is more important in the grand scheme, so is getting into the playoffs healthy....

Good question. Cleveland is one thing, but this Hawks offense is not exactly a juggernaut.

71 points in a half to the 28th ranked offense in the league.

We're exactly where we need to be heading in the playoffs, guys!  :P ..... >:(

I am just really confused.

This is a team that used to be great defensively, and they are horrendous now.  What changed?
