How did this team win 50 wins this season with that crappy defense is beyond me.

IT
and there's actually people on here that want to trade the only reason we are winning

True but the problem is that how far can they really go with a 5 foot 7.5 guard that will get beat up in the playoffs?
we will see soon

Is it really going to be Isaiah's fault if the rest of the team can't help him out???

His defense isn't great but I don't see another guy on this team who I can look at and say, "hey, he might have a good performance and lead us to a win".

It's not the point , the point is his limitations and his style of play, and what else he can do....

nobody is saying he isnt a huge plus, but even so , he is not the guy that can win rings at #1

Honestly, it might be best for us to get bounced in the first round this year. That way at least Danny knows that we're nowhere near close to where we need to be, and we need to keep our assets.

The display of basketball that we've put on the court lately is just putrid.

Lol I think that's what teams will do anyway, let him shoot 3's and if he can make them whatever, they will live with it.

getting bounced in the first round would not be best... at all.

How come every time we get a rebound it's a foul?

because we suck at rebounding, so we have to foul in order to get one.

If we can get to the end of the season healthy, I'd be very happy....

Seems like we lack toughness

and when teams want to play tough they beat us

Which is just absurd, given that's been our identity the past two years.

The problem / issue with long term IT as our 1st option, is that he can be neutralized in the playoffs, or at least he has been so far.  He is also a net negative on Def.

We need to play more of a team game on offense and not rely on IT to always generate points.  Maybe it is just just that we don't have good enough scorers to spread the ball well, but I think it is also somewhat our approach.  Great that IT is getting the accolades for his offensive play this year, but the more you rely on on player on offense it makes it easier for teams in the playoffs to gameplan to take that guy out.

I am not saying we should be trading him, but we need to play more unselfishly to maximize our talent.

The Nets are about to lose and lock up no worse than a tie for #1 lottery odds. That is more important than this, so...umm...yay.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
