This team would suck so much without Thomas.
Which no one talks about when it comes to the MVP debate.  Without him its a team of jump shooters and when they're off, we get what we're seeing tonight.
that's exactly what this team is.  live by the jumper, die by the jumper.  tonight we're dying

Danny-
PLEASE do not resign KO!!! It makes me sick watching this stiff. And the refs hate him/pick on him too.

Only two real keepers on this team- IT and Avery Bradley. And I suppose Jaylen B. for his potential, and Gerald Green for bench spark/attitude.  Everyone else is mediocre at best.
And are we EVER going to get a center/rebounder???

How did this team make it to the top of the east?

CBS should just throw the bench out there to start the second half. They cannot be worse than they were in the first, and if they are just consider it a teaching moment.

CBS needs to start

Al-KO-Brown-Green- IT4

this lineup would match better against the Cavs starting 5

just too much size in each position...need to match it

I love Smart, but he has been bad since the all star break.

He needs to turn it around. He is so important to our team.

Also, this defecit is more us sucking than Cleveland all of a sudden being awesome again. We can easily come back and win here.

Our defense this quarter has been among the worst I've seen.  Just a pathetic effort.

dude...the Celts are trying...the Cavs are just taking it to another level

I'm sorry, but this just simply is not true. This game is more about how terrible we are playing, not how good they're playing. They're shooting 44%, but only 21% from beyond the arc. We're even worse at 37% and 17%, along with giving up 10 offensive boards, losing the rebounding battle by 14, and playing some of the worst D we've ever played.

We're getting good, open shots (outside of that terrible stretch where Brad had primarily the bench and AB in), but we just can't it the broad side of a barn.

I'm betting this is an entirely different game in the second half. They're going to start to tire, and we're going to start hitting shots.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

It's impossible to say anything bad about Smart in here

Too many fans overrate him. He is a huge liability on offense. 3 years in the league and he is still horrendous on offense. Good defensive role player that's it. I wouldn't miss him if he was part of a trade.

Or maybe too many haters likes to nitpick on him? I mean he's not the only problem in the game. The whole bench, not just Smart flat out suck tonight.

no offense but where are the guys here who said the Celtics have a chance to take over the Cavs?

lol

Typical comment...gloating cuz your gloom predictions appear to be in your favor.  True fan you are. I swear you're an undercover troll.

Hope they get their arse chewed at halftime and come out like they did in the Rockets game, though someone needs to chew Brad's arse too for his terrible rotations early in the 2nd.

There is not much arse chewing that will make guys hit open shots.  This has been going on for a few games now.

Do you all quit at halftime in real life too?  They should rename this place chickenlittleblog.com.

Yup, that's why there's still over 100 people in the thread during halftime break.

How did this team make it to the top of the east?

how did ATL win 60 a few seasons ago?

some teams  are built for the regular season...but when other teams play seriously...  there is little chance

celtics  outside of a few ...are full of Matthew Delladovas.... just going to grind you out...make open shots...play smart...consistent effort

but when a team full of skilled players play for reals... then..

Cavs playing ok,  Celtics letting them get what they want a lot .  Celtics just not playing well ,  seems like an off game at the wrong time.

Oh well.
