On a somewhat related note, IT is not eligible for the super-max so not to worry. While IT made the All-NBA team and will be coming off of his 2nd contract, he is not still with the team that drafted him. That is a major caveat to the rule change since it is about keeping players (All-NBA players) that a team drafted.
So, while IT is likely to get massively overpaid, we don't need to worry about him receiving a $200M+ contract.
