Over reaction much? Bad games happen. They especially happen on the road, on the west coast, when 2 of your 3 best players are out.

They lost to Atlanta at home just two games ago. Gotta be more consistent with effort.
Are they supposed to win every game? Sure I would love to see 100% perfect effort in 82 straight games but it doesn't happen and during this time of year, teams can struggle. Before the All-Star break they won like 14 of 16 or something like that. They couldn't do that forever. As long as they get it together before the playoffs, and they should given their schedule after this road trip, they will still go on to win over 50 games and be a very high seed in the EC.

Tonight was no big deal. Bad losses happen.

Well Horford is the only playoff caliber center/power forward in the whole roster, because we never did **** to address this problem. Thats self explanatory. The loss didnt impress me
Why is DA so in love with the likes of Olynyk, Jerebko, Mickey?  These guys are not tough enough to battle down low.
I think to have one of those guys is fine, maybe even 2. But you just cant afford to have a team made of guys like that, especially when u already have a Horford. Its just not how it works. I dont see Danny's perspective on how this would work, even the Warriors the craziest shooting team of all time had bogut and now pachulia. We have been craving some toughness inside for a while, even if its just temporary, its worth to make a run

Amir had the highest plus and minus.
IT had the lowest.
Interior defense is important.

Embarrassing is a bit tough - this is their 3rd straight win, just having beat OKC (a team that we can do nothing with) and Charlotte .. 2 play off teams...

We were missing 2 starters. Heck we had Mickey in the game trying to close it out for us..  We killed ourselves on the free throw line, and then finished the deal with a untimely turnover..

Crap happens. Thoroughly embarrassed seems a bit tough though.  This team has talent and they seem to be starting to put it together..

I have to say it, we would have won that game if Sullinger was on our team--needed brawn and rebounds!

Olynyk has been awful the last few games, Mickey is just too small, not sure why not more Zeller?

Also why Gerald instead of James Young who has been playing better than Gerald?

Embarrassing is not the Loss, but our Defense. Actually, TERRIBLE! And it's not only about rebounds.

Which Sullinger - the Fat, out of shape one who always wore down at the end of games or the guy we all wished he was?

Bad thing happens, but it happens more than often when they are playing without energy. I know road trips are exhausting but Stevens have to get the best out of them with his rotations and ride the hot hand against subpar teams. Spurs have won back-to-back with overtimes in both games. This team is good but a little more consistency can help like the Spurs did. This current Celtics haven't proved yet that they are one of the top teams until they do so. Having a HCA is a first step. Winning a playoff series is another.

Can someone explain to me what happened on that last play? I've watched the replay a few times and I just can't figure it out. Was it a bad inbounds pass? Did IT just bobble it? Was it the Phoenix defender that happened to be in the right position?

I guess what I'm asking is, was it as sloppy as it looked to my eye? I know it's a March game against a bottom feeder but you can't be that sloppy in the final seconds of any game.

Crowder's pass was fine.  I.T. turned his head and was going to let the ball fall on the floor in order to delay the clock starting.  I.T. then sees Chriss coming and decides to catch the pass instead and drops it.  It then hits Chriss foot before I.T. boots it.  Chriss wasn't even close to I.T. when he dropped it.  LOL at the scorer giving that turnover to Crowder.

I completely disagree.  They don't have to win every game obviously, but PHO is a bottom feeder team.  They almost lost, at home, to a team missing 2 of its top 5 players.  They don't have good body language, they don't play together.  Eric Bledsoe is a talent but other than that they have nobody.  IT is an all-star and he couldn't defend Tyler Ullis.  A rookie, Marquis Chriss, made the C's front line look like a grade school team.

This is a bad loss, you can't sugar-coat it.  I am a huge DA defender, but he made a mistake by not making a move for a big at the deadline.  Rozier is a nice player, but he will become redundant when Fultz or Ball is drafted.

No it was not.   You had two guys wide open instead you throw it to a guy who was not open.   This also is on IT, it was not the time to let the ball drop on the floor.  Both passer and receiver made mistakes and the Suns capitalized on it.

Its going to happen from time to time, our guys are human, just learn from it.

You must be watching a different play then because I.T. was as open as Smart was.  Chriss was 10+ feet from either of them and tied up with Rozier when Crowder in bounded.  Plus I.T. stood 2 feet in front of Crowder with his hands out wanting the ball before that.  Are you going to deny giving it to him?  Crap happens but in no way would I blame Crowder there.  Just to be clear I don't blame anyone there its just a bad break, but that should be I.T.'s turnover not Crowder.

It was a thoroughly embarrassing loss, but it was also just one game on the road without 2 of the team's 3 best players so you can't really read anything into it, other than it was a thoroughly embarrassing loss.  On any individual night any team can beat any team.  If these things continue for multiple games, then it becomes a problem.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Yes the out of shape player who could not play an entire game would have made more of a difference last night than Jordan Mickey--as poorly as Olynyk and Zeller played he may have even helped more than they did.  Williams should not have done to us what he did on the boards.

I understand why Danny didn't want to pay Sullinger but for what he would cost today he would probably help some.
