So there is another Eastern Conference opponent that is improving without giving anything up. Another guy that arguably could have helped us. What's left... Sully, Nance Jr & Calderon? Why not just add Sully for nothing. Is Mickey really in our future?

I haven't seen Nance Jr. being available. If he were, I think Danny would jump on it.

I wouldn't mind us taking a shot at Casspi.  Can never have too much shooting.

Could have had PJ Tucker for like 2 second rounders. Nope.

Also don't sleep on the Bucks yet, if they sneak in as a 7-8 seed, they could play us first round.

I would love to play the Bucks in the first round.  That team doesn't scare me in the slightest.

Isn't he out for the year? If not I like him too.

Wait, so the Bucks are for real now because they added Terrence Jones? They're 7 games under .500 and have a losing home record. Come on now.

Also, he can start there (if they want). I don't know if Brad would start him.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Good for them. He isn't a good enough rebounder or shooter to justify getting minutes here

Here's a fun comparison; one if these two is Jones' stats from this year, the other is Sully's from last season playing for us. Which is which?

Player A: 24.8 mpg 1.5 3pa/g 25.3% 3p 8.1 2pa/g 51.2% 2p 60.6% FT 11.5 ppg 5.9 rpg 1.1 apg
Player B: 23.6 mpg 1.3 3pa/g 28.2% 3p 8.7 2pa/g 45.8% 2p 64.0% FT 10.3 ppg 8.3 rpg 2.3 apg

Jones just isn't good enough at anything for it to make sense adding him. He's better than Mickey, and maybe better than Zeller, but he's not gonna get minutes over Jerebko or Amir
I'm bitter.

Whose minutes would you give him?  Do you think he's better than Jerebko, Johnson, or Olynyk?

Simply adding players doesn't make us better.  You need players who are better than the one's who are in the rotation.

It sounds like Sully is not prepared to give an NBA team minutes, let alone a team that wants to win at least one playoff series.

Jones going to the Bucks is about his desire to play a lot of minutes to show out for his next contract.  He must have known he'd be getting at most 10-15 mpg on the Celts.

From what I understand the player needed to be waived from their existing team by March 1st. Then a team can sign the player after March 1st and be eligible for playoffs just like Bogut & Cleveland.

That was the report that I had heard a few days ago.

I'd like him here, but with Parker gone, there'll  be plenty of minutes for him there, plus with the length of Parker's recovery period, the Bucks could be his next contract. He'll be hungry.
