is there any player in the history of the NBA with better handles than this guy? Honest question, because I don't know.

Not just that. Some of the shots he finishes are works of art.

Great win by the C's tonight. And anyone who proposes letting go of Avery Bradley should be forced to watch the last two minutes of the game to see how bad an idea that is. To win a title for the next 6 years or so, you have to deal with Kyrie and Steph Curry.

yeah probably but a decent amount of that is because they let you carry the ball all the time now. Which is only within the last decade or 2.

He is a truly gifted scorer.

May have to go back to pistol Pete Maravich or Cousy to find a better ball handler and I mean that. Jamal Crawford is also a master.

Pistol Pete.

Pistol Pete predates me, but I've been watching a bunch of film of him recently, and the stuff he was able to do with the ball in an era where you couldn't carry was mind-boggling.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I kind of figured pistol Pete would be in the conversation, but did he move the ball with as much speed and quickness as Kyrie? Want the game a lot slower back then?

Past players like Cousy and Pistol definitely had a better "feel" for the ball, as if it was an extension of their bodies, but I think Irving's mix of handles, first step, quickness, and acrobatic finishing has never been seen before.

Pistol Pete had an otherworldly feel for the game. His vision was tremendous.

EDIT: I just realized I spelled Bob Cousy's name wrong. It's been a long week.

I've been watching NBA games 51 years. Guys have been getting away with carrying the ball since the 60's.

He is a master! No doubt.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Also Pistol Pete and Cousey couldn't palm the ball constantly. There hands had to stay on top of the ball, much harder.

I watched Isiah.... he is not close to Kyrie. Magic could run a fast break better than any but he did not have that look like the ball was glued to his hands like Kyrie does.
