  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
The Wizards are coming around. Best record since jan 1st. I see them making the ECF depending upon draw. Coach Brooks has shown he is a coach. There bench is stronger and they have three players in their prime in Wall, Beal and now Porter. What do you guys think?
"People look at players, watch them dribble between their legs and they say, 'There's a superstar.'  Well John Havlicek is a superstar, and most of the others are figments of writers' imagination."
--Jerry West, on John Havlicek

Good chance they will get that 2nd seed.
What a difference a year make.

Drafting works. Even if you make questionable moves, drafting can come together in amazing ways sometimes. Granted they haven't won anything yet.

They're getting no better than the 4th seed.  You guys are all afraid of a mirage.

They have the 3rd seed right now and Lowry is out for the next 4-5 weeks. They have to be the favorites to at least hang on to the 3rd spot.

Are they mirage? Maybe. But Wall has advanced out of the 2nd round twice before with lesser teams. They're 11th in defense and 10th in offense despite a bad start to the season and they match up well against the Celtics. I think the C's are the better team and they have the better coach but I still worry about a series against them.

If you say so. They've been one of the best teams in the league since mid to late december.  They just beat golden state last night, who yes didn't have KD but last I checked that team made it to the finals two years in a row without him.  Oh and they've beat us handily 2 out of 3 times this year

If you think the wizards are a mirage what would they have to do for you to take them seriously

Yup.  Not sure the Celts can handle that team.  Would probably be a brutal series whoever wins...

Win on their upcoming West Coast trips.  Through the All-Star break they'd had the easiest strength of schedule and one of the most home-heavy schedules.  They have been a bad road team all year, and they have two West Coats trips in March.  I would even find going 5-4 over those 9 games impressive enough.  I don't think they manage it.

fair enough.  i think youre going to get your wish.  I wont disagree that their schedule hasnt been bad however when they did play the more elite teams its not like they got squashed.  It took the Cavs overtime and a lucky three by Lebron to beat them this past time around.
