With less than 24 hours to go, it's time for us all to pony up and go on the record with our final predictions.  Will the Celts make a big splash, or head into the 2nd half with the #2 seed, Bradley returning from injury, and the best odds at drafting a Tier 1 talent?

I have a really hard time believing a significant move is going to happen.  Imagine trading away Butler/George in his prime to find the BKN pick end up #4?  Seems too risky for two organizations that don't need to rush this decision.

Interested to see what the collective whole believes.  And of course, the opportunity to mock others/myself for being way off base yet again.  Happy predicting!

Danny will do nothing by being too greedy. Our two best players are 28 and 30, we can't hold on to all these draft picks. Should've went after Cousins, hopefully we can get George and/or Drummond.

I think it'll be small stuff.

Zeller, Jackson, and a 2nd for Tucker and Barbosa.
Mickey and the Cleveland 2nd for Terrence Jones.

We potentially release one of Young or Green if Bogut is released and we're able to sign him.

Agree with the Cousins part - that really stings - but there must have been some real fatal flaws that we don't know about for him to go for such a weak package.

I hope and predict Danny will do almost nothing (possible small Bogut or Tucker trade). This can all be re-visited in the offseason.

Cs trade 2017 MIN 2nd Round Pick, 2017 LAC 2nd Round Pick, 2018 Celtics 1st Round Pick to The Knicks.

Cs trade the Clippers 2019 1st round pick back to them.

We get Butler for the 2017 Nets pick and Bradley, and filler.  We beat Cleveland in 7, but lose to GS in 5.  The Nets flop again next year and we win the lottery and draft the best big available, also winning the NBA Championship that year.  The beginning of a 7 year dynasty where we win 4 championships.

I'll bite:

One of Butler or George will be in green at 3:05 tomorrow. I'm leaning toward it being George, and I guess it'll be for a package built around the 2017 Brooklyn pick, 2019 Memphis pick, Brown, Rozier, Zeller, and JJ for George and Miles.

I'd love a follow up trade of something built around Noel and filler assets for AB, but I'm guessing we're more likely to get something like Bogut for minimal assets instead.

Celtics trade Brown, Crowder, and BKN 17 for PG
Celtics trade Rozier, Bradley, and BKN 18 for Drummond

Or atleast this is what I hope happens

In 3 years, when those two are 31 and 33, our best players might be 23 and 25.  If something big happens in the next 21 hours, terrific.  But otherwise I'll take our top 5 team that's young and getting younger.

i voted that we won't see any fireworks.  i think it makes more sense for DA to wait until the draft pick has been established.  A minor trade might occur to help us out down low, but my gut tells me DA is going to let this current team take a crack at the playoffs and then do his dealing this summer.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be mad if Ainge decided not to make a blockbuster.

But if you can get Tucker OR Bogut for cheap, DO IT. Wiz and Raptors have made minor moves, C's should too.

Though I will be outraged if somehow another team like the Lakers land Butler or PG13 for a reasonable price. Then I'll be mad.

Nothing.  And next year we have a fifth point guard.

Bingo! Danny had his chance for a trade that he likes which is not give up much and get a big return in Cousins. Now Indiana and Chicago will be asking too much for Ainge so no deal and another guard will be drafted with the Brooklyn pick. Fireworks. Maybe Wyk should have kept his mouth shut 3 years ago about the fireworks comment and maybe fans wouldn't be so p---ed off 3 years later with not even a bottle rocket.

I'd be amused with a 5 PG lineup featuring Smart at center.
