Obviously he's just as sadly surprised as most of us were at Cousins trade.  He's been recruiting Cousins for over a year.  To see Cousins traded to another team for scraps would surprise anybody.  Stop reading into ****.
Bulpett reported today that Thomas gave bad reviews about Cousins to the Celtics front office. They didn't want Cousins. Therefore its pretty easy to figure out that IT wasn't recruiting Cousins. The Celtics wouldn't let IT recruit someone that they have no intention of trying to persue.

Well that's discouraging. When was this released?

Not sure IT would post this to indicate an imminent trade.  Different from a FA signing as it could be seen as disrespectful to his current teammates.  Then worse, of course, if the trade falls through.

Well I assumed he already said he won't waive his NTC anymore.

Plus Ainge didn't want Cousins and it seems he doesn't want Melo either (he values PG13/Butler a lot over Melo).
