stay the course!

just draft players

wait out the warriors and cavs

i love danny's patience, personally

sorry Bo  ;)

(jk, love ya, man)

I agree. Those who think Zizic can't be as good as Cousins need to look at history. Butler wasn't drafted high but he's better than most drafted ahead of him. I look for Zizic to take the league by storm next year.

My guess is Ainge is holding on to the Nets 2017 1st in Butler talks because he wants to use it in a follow up deal for a big man to pair with Butler.

What big is remotely available that would be reasonable to trade the Nets pick for?

Frankly not much.  Cousins was the guy I wanted all along and for him to go that inexpensively it is really unacceptable he isn't in Boston.  Ainge should be on the hot seat for this one.

Think about market economics and get back to us.

Yeah, Ainge has built up a ton of good will, but we could have added a young, non-expiring All-NBA center for relative peanuts.

I predict we'll look back at this as a missed opportunity to become contenders. We could have added Boogie, kept our core, and still drafted Fultz.

Based on what report?  Where is the report on what the Celtics offered?

So what will make it OK for missing out on Cousins.

What if Danny pulls a ( Butler or PG13) and ( Okafor or Vucevic ).

I think this can be done and one of those bigs can be had really cheap.  Especially Okafor,  NO are not going for him anymore.

Any combination of this will make me happy:

1) Make the ECF finals.

2) Land the #1 pick in the draft.

3) Trade for Paul George.

4) Sign Gordon Hayward.

during his rookie season Jackson will fit better as a 2 than a 4 in my opinion.

I wonder what Ainge's plan is if we lost in the 2nd round and end up with the 4th pick...jump off the ledge I think...or perhaps bang his head on the wall wondering what could have been had he traded for DC.

Winning a playoff series alone makes this season a success. That's the goal of this current squad but of course, they won't stop at that.

can do

Aren't Jackson and Brown the same player. I probably lean Ball/Fultz because I don't believe they pay IT.

Jackson is a better ball-handler, passer, defender, and finisher.

Brown has a quicker first step, is stronger and has a better frame to add muscle  and projects as a better shooter and potentially a better scorer because of that.

They could easily play together and even if their gmaes were entirely irrelevant you still have to go BPA.

I hope the C's do something to help rebounding before the trade deadline. With the right pickup we'll have some fun this post season.

Draft Fultz with hopefully the first pick in the draft. (If not with the first pick, then take the best player available.)

Go to Summer League, and take a good look at Zizic, see if he'll help this year.

Sign Hayward as a free agent if possible. I know the Crowder fans won't like this, but Hayward scores in a multitude of ways in which Crowder can't. He's also 3 inches taller, and still maturing physically. He's a player that can create his own shot anytime he wants it. We need another player like this or this team will not go much further.

Add an athletic, defensive minded big man, through free agency, or trade. (Noel, or WCS would be a fine candidates.) Someone that can get off the floor quickly.

I want Danny to upgrade the talent without using the Brooklyn 2017 pick, Jaylen,  Smart, Hortford,  or It4.

Preferably I'd want him to trade Avery, Rozier, Jonas, Gerald, Young, Amir, Mickey,  Zeller and any of the other draft picks for another quality sf and a center to anchor our defense.

**I'm on the fence about trading Crowder or KO

JB is a better shooter.

JJ sucks as shooter/free throw shooter, BUT is a better passer, ball-handler, rebounder and defender (can defend 4 positions) and has better court-awareness. He's also meaner, longer and may be a better athlete (that's close) .

No they aren't. Jackson is a in the line of point forward while Brown is your Kobe/Tmac type of player.
