I have to ask, all the predictions suggest we will win on average 50 games.

Maybe I'm being overly confident, but honestly, we won 49 games with an already aged Gary Payton, Paul Pierce Ricky Davis and the return of Antoine.

Is the east really that much better now that with KG, Allen, Pierce, Posey and the rest of the troops we will finish with the same record?

From where I stand, I'd be dissapointed if we could only manage to win 50 games.  The Wizards won 50 games in the East, even a weathered Miami team won 50 games in the east.

I think with how hungry these guys are, and how much they want this, I expect to see 55 to 60 wins. I think they are going to want to run away with the Eastern conference title to make a statement.

maybe I'm just crazy, but I don't buy 33 us losing 32 games.

I think we'll be around the 58 wins KG got in Minnesota with Spree and Cassell as long as our starting five is reasonably healthy.

We can probably take top seed in the East but the playoffs will be tougher for us with teams having all that time to pick apart our weaker links. Regular season wins could be decieving.

I'd say 55-62 wins are well within the realm of possibility if healthy but then again 42-45+ wins were within the realm of possibility going into last year and look what happened.

Our starters still don't have the chemistry to convincingly beat Tony Allen, Eddie House, Posey, Powe, and Scal.  I refuse to believe that our bench is that good.

As Fabio pointed out on the front page, the 1986 reserves gave the starters fits in practice.  That team turned out okay.

If they can get 16 wins in the postseason, they can go 42 and 40 during the year and I'd be happy :)

I hope it's not too late to make my prediction.  I'm going with 52 wins.  I'm really psyched about the season and ordered NBA League Pass, so I can watch the games out here on the West Coast.

I'll also predict that we'll make it to the ECF.

I say 56 wins.

But more importantly, I HOPE this team is healthy come playoff time.  This is my real worry. 56 wins are nice, but if Allen is out and/or KG is on bad wheels then we r sunk.

I like 52-30.  They'll lose a few of the 2nd night of two in a row or the
4th game in a 4 game in 5 night series.  Coach Rivers will cost them a couple as well.  In the playoffs Garnett will be very entertaining to watch as his intensity level goes up. It should be a fun 3 or 4 years.
