My prediction shouldn't count at this point, since it is December 10th. But here goes: 65 wins.   We will coast to first seed in the East. If Doc wants to get first seed overall, we may have to go for a few more, but is better to rest our guys, especially given their age.

not a prediction, just and update.

19-2 = winning % of 90.

projected season record of 74-8. hmmm... i doubt this will be the final record, but so far my prediciton of 50 wins seems woefully weak.

once more, i'm wrong and proud of it!  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Just splitting the approx. 60 games left 30/30 puts them at (approx.) 50 wins so they are much closer to a 60-66 win team.

looks like they will not lose more than 15. So 67-15 is my estimate. Celts will lose to harder competition teams but i doubt that they will get swept by them. Near the end of the season also with the big three needing rest i see us using more of the bench players and losing a couple.

For the playoffs in the eastern finals we meet detroit and it goes to 7 games. If we win that we go to the finals and meet the spurs which will also go 7

Rough schedule ahead and we really need kg back with rondo playing as he is. Powes help really aids this teams success as well. Even though kg comesback i don't want rondo to stop attacking the basket and making some risky passes here and there.

If we keep on throwing it in it will be easy for the other team to double team kg and semi double team ray allen and pierce with rondo free on top of the key having to make a jumper which is not his strength. We really need doc to understand that rondo is the pg and he needs to be in charge of the ball on offense.

I'm not saying completely abandon throwing it to kg, but rondo needs more trust also

Guys like powe and davis should also not be buried deep in the bench onece kg and perk comesback with then posey getting the majority of the other mins. Remember this overplaying of kg and perk is what has them sidelined now on the bench.

But what a year so far at 41 and 9 i would have never thought we be this good even with the trio.

How is the Celtics going to stop BYNUM, GASOL and KOBE now?

Jordan Farmar is far better tha Rajan Rondo. Farmar had 17 pts 12 asst in tonights rookie challenge.

WIN Total does not matter, just make sure to show up in the NBA FINALS, we'll see u there!!!

Too funny to read but I'll address it.

You realize your citing someone's statistics in an exhibition game that was played with basically no defense?  I happen to think Farmar is a good prospect but to cite statistics from an EXHIBITION GAME to illustrate that he's better than Rondo is ridiculous.

Second of all, you might want to worry about your own squad right now rather than addressing the Celtics.  Last I checked, Bynum is hurt and his timetable to return is up in the air.  Also, your star player had decided against surgery and is going to play the rest of the season with torn ligaments in his thumb.  On paper, when healthy, the Lakers have a heckua squad but right now in the real world, they're banged up playing in an ultra talented and competitive conference where things like health are going to play a HUGE factor in who makes it out of the West.

Good luck getting out of the West.

Good luck staying in the playoffs if Kobe gets that surgery.

Good to see Farmar playing well in an all-star game.  When is he going to play well enough to take the starting spot from Fisher?
