Forget the foul.  Celtics were out rebounded by 20.  Danny you can not ignore this.  Fix this.. I don't care if its an all in for a Drummond or smaller move in a Vucevic.   Get a rebounder in here.

No offense, but your comment doesn't seem very positive.  Maybe change the thread title to "short rant due to last nights loss"?

Did the NBA come yet and tell The Celtics how they really won the game??? If they don't overturn the Loss, what's the point. Did the Refs even go to replay on that weakass  call? You can clearly see that there was no contact from that overhead shot!!

I think the OP's point is that having a glaring weakness exposed before the deadline could put pressure on Danny to act. Whether that's good, bad or irrelevant is a matter of debate.

I have a hard time in finding any positives after being cheated out of a win.

How about the Celtics barely loss despite the Bulls shooting 22/22 from the free throw line. It took a bunch of things going wrong last night (including Portis and Grant catching fire), so I don't think there is a ton to take from that loss.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

That  was my point.  Having a huge flaw exposed right before  trade deadline can change how deadline is looked at.  As it stands right now our 1st playoff round would be the Bulls.  If they out rebound us by 20 in the playoffs,  guess what another 1 and done.    Danny still has time to fix this.

Vucevic won't fix our rebounding. In fact, he will hurt our flexibility.

I agree on the rebounding problem for sure, I just don't agree Drummond is a player to go after. Besides being wrong for the style, he's expensive.

I'm getting the feeling Danny is looking for a center that really fits in with what they're doing, stretching the floor, athletic, cover multiple positions, and maybe even shoot the 3 too.

What I'm trying to say is...I don't think he'll do very much come trade dead line as to acquiring a center unless he gets what he want's. I hope I'm wrong.

I agree, if you're gonna sign the wrong player, let it at least be one that come's inexpensively.

Noel or WCS at this point are still on rookie contracts, and they make more sense as to style of play.

What would be wrong with Drummond.. Isn't he like 23.  one of the tops in rebounding and blocked shots? Can score a little bit in the post...

As long as he doesn't cost us the 17 Nets pick (or Brown/Smart)  I think he would be perfect.

You're not getting Drummond without giving up at least one of those.  He's got 4.5 years left on his contract -- in other words, he'd hit free agency when this year's Brooklyn pick does.  Expirings and lesser picks isn't going to get it done.
