  • That's turrible
That sucks but it's a smart thing to do, especially when the remaining two games are against the Mavs and the Sixers

They can't. And it is dumb to do so. Won't make any sense to waste a year of control for a few months where he wont help at all. Its not easy for a rookie to adjust to schemes of NBA teams, its only recently that Brown has looked really comfortable, what more for a rookie joining a team in the middle of a season? Heck even some vets take some time to adjust.

3, but yes.  Only a problem if he can't go after the ASB.

No-one cares about "years of control" in the land of short-term contracts and no arbitration.  ;D ;D ;D

I never said YEARS. I said Year, meaning this season.

It also affects cap at end of the year for max free agent play. Every little bit counts...

It doesn't, unless you're planning to keep him after end of season. And if you don't want him because of the cap hit, then you should have no problem letting him go. That doesn't really change.

I LOVE Jaylen's potential, but let's face it - he's not really helping the team win.  He tends to have 1-2 charging calls a game, and isn't shooting lights out or doing things to significantly help the team win.  He's also a poor finisher.  Gerald Green, assuming he's healthy enough to go, is a more than adequate fill in for Brown.  Now, if Green is also out, there is a decent drop off to James Young.

This is not meant to be a knock on Brown.  I think his future is sky-high, but he's a rookie and at this point in time, this is not a huge loss.

If he's not a keeper why sign him? Just grab a vet off the scrape heap for the rest of the year and we already have all 15 players signed and did you watch the last game James Young played? Why is a dude who has never played in the NBA the answer  to any problem this team has. Nader is not a defensive center who can block shots and rebound.

the celtics would have to cut a player first. nader is not a celtic right now and the roster is full.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

rest him, and Bradley...I rather lose 2 games with our key players getting extra rest heading to the all-star break with extended rest than rush them back and aggravate an injury

I want a healthy squad heading into the playoffs
